  • How to Handle UriFormatException in standard Web browser control in .Net Compact framework

    I have developed a browser in my application using the standard Web Browser control. It is throwing URIFormatException and the application crashes when navigating to some sites like "WWW.oosai.com" and also on clicking back or forward buttons when there is no internet connection.     I want to play any file for 6 seconds. Also suppose the audio is bigger then 6 sec the application will play only for 6 sec.and if it is less then 6 sec then play continuously. So is there any inbuilt option from any framework?

    Hi there, I asked a question in this thread Stackoverflow, and it works perfect. So tnx to all the users who gave me a reply. But now I have a other question. I would like to have the object in a seperate file, so I only need to update the file in stead of the JS file (otherwise it will be very big). I'm using JQUERY. I now looks like this (with all the info in the JS file).   • Error occure while validating form input using JQUERY in Firebug

    Hello Friends, I have written a custom validation code in JQUERY. which is working fine. I have a login form which have two fields i.e. userid and password. I have written a custom JQUERY code for client side validation for these fields. This custom JQUERY code is working fine and gives me proper error messages as per the situation. But the problem with this code is that when I enter the invalid data in any or both field and press submit button of form then it displays the proper error message but at the same time when I checked it in Firebug it displays following error message when submit button of the form is clicked validate is not defined function onclick(event) { javascript: return validate(); }(click clientX=473, clientY=273) So please tell me where is I am wrong in my Jquery code.   • Replacing a calloutaccessoryview in mkannotationview

    In my viewForAnnotation delegate, I create a MKAnnotationView with leftCalloutaccessory as a info button. When the info button is tapped, I want to replace it with a UIActivityIndicator. So in the calloutAccessoryTapped delegate, I wrote view.leftCalloutaccessoryView = [UIActivityIndicator indicatorWithStyle:UIActivityIndicatorWhite]; The callout accessory seems to change, but it seems like the view doesn't get updated immediately. That's when the callout accessory gets hidden (by tapping another pin) and is re-opened, I see a spinner. But otherwise, I don't. I tried calling [view setNeedsdisplay] and [view setNeedsLayout] and [view layoutsubviews] as well but in vain. Any suggestions/pointers?

  • Loader.php trying to load Doctrine classes, but we use Propel!

    We are finding cases where we get the following 500 error: File xyz.php does not exist or class "xyz" was not found in the file at () in SF_ROOT_DIR/lib/vendor/Zend/Loader.php line 107 ... where xyz == Memcache (when trying to use symfony cc on the command line) or sfDoctrineAdminGenerator (when using an old-ish AdminGenerator-generated CMS page). We use Propel, but Loader.php is trying to load classes used only for Doctrine. Currently I am using a filthy hack where I request Loader.php to check if the file is either of these two cases, and if so simply return rather than trying to load it. Obviously, this is unacceptable longer term. Has anybody encountered this, and how did you solve it? Edited to add: We have: class ProjectConfiguration extends sfProjectConfiguration { public function setup() { // for compatibility / remove and enable only the plugins you want $this->enableAllPluginsExcept(array('sfDoctrinePlugin')); } } And we have a propel.ini file in our top level config directory. This has only started in the past four weeks or so, and we've had a stable build for over a year now. I'm pretty sure Doctrine is totally disabled.

    As far as I can tell the only way to convert from BitmapSource to Bitmap is through unsafe code... Like this (from Lesters WPF blog): myBitmapSource.CopyPixels(bits, stride, 0); unsafe { fixed (byte* pBits = bits) { IntPtr ptr = new IntPtr(pBits); System.Drawing.Bitmap bitmap = new System.Drawing.Bitmap( width, height, stride, System.Drawing.Imaging.PixelFormat.Format32bppPArgb,ptr); return bitmap; } } To do the reverse: System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapSource bitmapSource = System.Windows.Interop.Imaging.CreateBitmapSourceFromHBitmap( bitmap.GetHbitmap(), IntPtr.Zero, Int32Rect.Empty, System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapSizeOptions.FromEmptyOptions()); Is there an easier way in the framework? And what is the reason it isn't in there (if it's not)? I would think it's fairly usable. The reason I need it is because I use AForge to do certain image operations in an WPF app. WPF wants to show BitmapSource/ImageSource but AForge works on Bitmaps.

From what I was able to trace, the code for the accepted answer dies/ stops at the line : var temp = new obj.constructor(); Is there any way to see what went wrong ? It's not really necessary I use the same function for the object copying, but I would like something that works. Do you know some function?

  • Rails paperclip problem

    I have uploaded the video into my rails application by using thoughtbot-paperclip then the video is converted into "flv" format by using ffmpeg. For your reference here I specified some of my model sample code: model.rb: has_attached_file :source,:styles => {:thumb => "137x85>" } If i specified :url or :path option it doesn't worked correctly. In my view I played my video by using the following line: <%= @model.source.url.gsub(/\?.*/,'')%> If i use <%= @model.source.url%>, the video is not played. When do the puts for video url it shows me the video URL as /source/original/sample/sample.fly?22000009. I knew that the last portion is a timestamp, but i want to use <%= @model.source.url%>. What's my mistake here can any one correct me please?
