  • Spring mail support - no subject

    I have updated my libraries, and now e-mails are sent without subject. I don't know where this happened...     I'm looking for options that allow very high-level web site development with these special characteristics: not requiring the user to program in a complex programming language not requiring the user to use GUI-like administration areas allow the user to "program" in a lightweight markup language The last point is not only about look and structure of the output but also about creating simple dynamic output. For example: listing pages fetching the content of other pages doing a site search and displaying its output dynamically show or hide parts of the page depending on login status Of course, I am not expecting a solution that provides the same possibilities like a Ruby, Python or PHP web framework. Rather I am looking for support of the "basics" that are common for web sites. Until now, I have found only one piece of software that fulfills these requirements but while it's free, it's not open source: BoltWire at http://www.boltwire.com/. Being open source is required.

    Dear SO family, I have created an iframe which contains the label, "powered by MyWebsite.site" The "iframe itself" accepts arguments, so other webmasters may customize the appearance of it. The problem is that since the background of the iframe could be customized, anyone can "vanish" the "powered by MyWebsite.site". So what option do i have? How should i dynamically change the label color depending on any background?

  • How to install launch agent on Mac os x 10.5 / 10.6

    I have developed a launchAgent in cocoa. It works fine for me on dev environment, by placing the plist file in location /Library/LaunchAgents/.To distribute and install this on other laptops, I created the package using package maker tool. As part of installation process I want to change permission of the plist file and copy it to /Library/LaunchAgents location. Could any one tell me how can i achieve this ? Thanks in advance for help....Any help will be appreciated ..!!!!

  • Strange Ubuntu linux boot behaviour

    I've recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 on a desktop machine as the only OS. If put in a hibernate, it wakes up normally, but if turned of completely, after turning on there is no "beep" sound from BIOS and HD lamp blinks for a while then stops. When I hit reset in that state, it bots normally. What is going on and how could I fix it?

  • zip being too nice (osX)

    I use zip to do a regular backup of a local directory onto a remote machine. They don't believe in things like rsync here, so it's the best I can do (?). Here's the script I use echo $(date)>>~/backuplog.txt; if [[ -e /Volumes/backup/ ]]; then cd /Volumes/Non-RAID_Storage/; for file in projects/*; do nice -n 10 zip -vru9 /Volumes/backup/nonRaidStorage.backup.zip "$file" 2>&1 | grep -v "zip info: local extra (21 bytes)">>~/backuplog.txt; done; else echo "backup volume not mounted">>~/backuplog.txt; fi this all works fine, except that zip never uses much CPU, so it seems to be taking longer than it should. It never seems to get above 5%. I tried making it nice -20 but that didn't make any difference. Is it just the network or disc speeds bottlenecking the process or am I doing something wrong?

  • Remove default "open with" setting.

    I have managed to leave the make default option ticked when using the "open with" option in windows 7. I ideally want this removed so the OS can manage the file type as before. I can't find the menu to remove this anywhere, I'm sure it used to be in the folder options panel in XP. Thanks

  • Collision detection, alternatives to "push out"

    I'm moving a character (ellipsoid) around in my physics engine. The movement must be constrained by the static geometry, but should slide on the edges, so it won't be stuck. My current approach is to move it a little and then push it back out of the geometry. It seems to work, but I think it's mostly because of luck. I fear there must be some corner cases where this method will go haywire. For example a sharp corner where two walls keeps pushing the character into each other. How would a "state of the art" game engine solve this?

    create or replace procedure createtables Authid current_user as begin execute immediate 'create table newcustomer as select * from customer'; end; create or replace procedure e is begin createtables; select * from newcustomer; end; I got two procedures above. first one will create a new tables called newcustomer, second procedure will call the first procedure and query to the newcustomer table. when I try to compile this code, it says the table is not yet created, I don't really get it as I have called createtables procedure so I assume I have created the table.   • How to discovering types exported by OSGi bundle without installing/activating ?

    Basically i want to discover if a jar implements any number of interfaces wihtout activating or starting the bundle. Is it possible to read the meta data from the meta-inf from an API just like the container does but without activating a bundle ? I want to use OSGi to support plugins of which numerous interfaces will be published and i would like to know which interfaces are implemented by a bundle when the user uploads without activating the bundle etc.

  • Rails cookie session sharing and "www.example.com" or "example.com" problem

    When people access my app on www.example.com and log in, they get a cookie. I'm using the cookie option to store session on Rails. Accessing example.com (without the www), they must log in again, because Firefox does not recognize the previous session. So, what do you think is the best way to avoid this? I guess I will use a small .htaccess rule (Apache + Passenger) like this: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example\.com RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [R=permanent,L] Do you guys think that is a good solution?

  • Fonts not found when print request comes from a child process of a Service

    I have a strange issue on a Windows Server 2003 box which has been baffling me for days now. I have a service running on the machine which calls a specified exe every 60 seconds, the exe looks at a local database to see if it needs to print anything, and if so, it prints it to a network laser printer. The problem i'm having is that some fonts won't print out when the exe is called automatically by the service, but work fine if I double click the exe to run it. The font was installed by Administrator, but the service runs as NT Authority\System. I thought this might have something to do with it, but I tried running the service as Administrator, and that didn't solve it. Are there any issues with fonts and permissions that i'm not aware of that could be causing this behaviour?
