  • Perl Threads with binmode

    Hi Folks, this call my $th = threads->create(\&print, "Hello thread World!\n"); $th->join(); works fine. But as soon as I add binmode(STDOUT, ":encoding(ISO-8859-1)"); to my script file, I get an error like "segmentation fault", "access denied". What is wrong to define an encoding type when trying to call a perl thread? Kind Regards --Andy

And also when the user types http://www.abc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=55 something like this ie. any query next to abc.com then i am trying to redirect to http://www.xyz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=55. how to do this in Php...   • WCF Webservices and FaultContract - Client's receiving SoapExc insted of FaultException<TDetails>

    Hi All, i'm developing a WCF Webservice and consuming it within a mvc2 application. My problem is that i'm using FaultContracts on my methods with a custom FaultDetail and i'm throwing manyally the faultexception but when the client receive the exception , it receives a normal SoapException instead of my FaultException that i throwed from the service side. Here is some code: Custom Fault Detail Class: [DataContract] public class MyFaultDetails { [DataMember] public string Message { get; set; } } Operation on service contract: [OperationContract] [FaultContract(typeof(MyFaultDetails))] void ThrowException(); Implementation: public void ThrowException() { var details = new MyFaultDetails { Message = "Exception Test" }; throw new FaultException<MyFaultDetails >(details , new FaultReason(details .Message), new FaultCode("MyFault")); } Client side: try { // Obv proxy init etc.. service.ThrowException(); } catch (FaultException<MyFaultDetails> ex) { // stuff } catch (Exception ex) { // stuff } What i expect is to catch the FaultException , instead that catch is skipped and the next catch is taken with an exception of type SoapException. Am i missing something ? i red a lot of threads about using faultcontracts within wcf and what i did seems to be good. Suppose the dataset has the following data Name Age ------- ------- A 25 B 26 C 22 3 chart needs to be drawn for the x-axis/y-axis combination of A/25, B/26, C/22. How can I loop through rows of the dataset. And how can I restrict the chart to that particular data point. What would be the xsl expression corresponding to this functionality.

  • Pass value to an include file in php.

    Hi, How do you pass a parameter into an include file? I tried the following but it doesn't work. include "myfile.php?var=123"; and in myfile.php, I try to retrieve the parameter using $_GET["var"]. include "myfile.php?var=123"; will not work. PHP searches for a file with this exact name and does not parse the parameter for that I also did this: include "http://MyGreatSite.com/myfile.php?var=123";but it does not also work. Any hints? Thanks.

  • Windows 7 - Runs in safe mode, crashes in "normal" mode

    A couple of days ago I came back from a meeting to find my laptop had locked up. Power lights still on but the screen was blank (by which I mean black, though still "backlit" so not dead). Didn't respond to anything. I rebooted and it powered up fine and I got to the login screen. I logged in and it seemed to be going fine for about 30 seconds (gmail notifier and pidgin popped up) then the same thing happened - black screen. If I boot into Safe Mode it's all fine, no problems. I've tried removing everything from the startup folders (All users and my login), everything from the Run section of the registry (Local Machine and my login) and I've disabled every service which doesn't run in Safe Mode (assuming anything running in safe mode is OK) but the problem still exists. I've scanned the memory for errors (all fine). Any thoughts on what else I could try?

  • Any reason why NGEN should hang and never complete for a particular assembly?

    I have a class library project for .NET 3.5 built with Visual Studio 2008. If I try to NGEN the core assembly in this solution file, NGEN never completes, or at least not in the time I've bothered to let it run (like overnight). Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, did you solve it? And if you did, how? What steps did you take? If this is a bug in NGEN, how do I post this to Microsoft? I have a connect account, but where do I post a bug-report for this particular product, instead of a .NET class (which I know where to go for.) The class library in question can be found here: http://svn.vkarlsen.no:81/svn/LVK/LVK_3_5/trunk (subversion 1.6 repository) The problematic assembly is the LVK.Core assembly.

  • Non-interactive command-line FTP client alternative to weex

    Hi, I'm looking for a good non-interactive, command line FTP client to be run from a Rakefile. Like Weex, but better. Weex has different problems (for me): It stores its config file in my home dir. I want the FTP config to be part of my project and weex doesn't have a --config-file option or something. The behavior of ignoring files seems to be completely buggy. It doesn't remove files which it should, it doesn't let me specify relative paths, even though I do it according to the man page's instructions, etc. I've been struggling with it for an hour now and it is just completely inexplicable. I tried running rsync over FTPFS/FUSE, but that is dead slow because FTP doesn't store mtimes, which makes rsync diff every file. Plus, there are some refresh problems and other bugs that cause access failure (http://bugs.gentoo.org/208168). I'm stuck with FTP, unfortunately. Any help is appreciated.

  • How to tell Eclipse 3.4 WTP to not restart tomcat on JSP save?

    Whenever I save a JSP file in my WTP project, Eclipse restarts its Tomcat instance. This is sorta driving me nuts. I don't want to disable auto reload completely, I just don't want it to happen when I save a file that doesn't require a restart. I'm not sure how Eclipse WTP works in this regard. Could it be my project structure? The JSP files are in WEB-INF/jsp. (this SO question is similar to mine, but doesn't have a sufficient answer) EDIT: I want auto-reloading to happen, but not for file saves that do not require it. When I save a JSP there is no reason to have Tomcat restart. Thus what I'm looking for, if possible, is a smarter way for reloading to happen.

The problem is, when jQuery execute this line returns "Docentes y alumnos desa...".     I am trying to send a fax to a hylafax server via Java: Client faxClient = new HylaFAXClient(); faxClient.open(...); faxClient.user(...); faxClient.pass(...); Job j = faxClient.createJob(); job.setStuff(...); job.setNotifyType(Job.NOTIFY_ALL); faxClient.addTransferListener(new FaxTransferListener()); faxClient.addConnectionListiener(new FaxConnectionListener()); faxClient.submit(job); The problem is that I don't get any notifications on any of the listener methods. When I watch the queues on the hylafax server, e.g. via JHylaFax, the job failed, but how can I react to that event programatically on client side without having to poll the job queues regularly?
