  • How to remove a single event in a recuring event

    hi all. I' m having an issue with fullCalendar. I created a script that, adds an event to fullCalendar, along a day range, and set a unique id in order to have this event recur. let say for example that i have a recuring event from 1/1/10 till 10/1/10. i create 10 single event Objects with the same id, and place then on fullCalendar. my question is, that i want to exclude a single day over this recuring event. (for example 3/1/10). i found out, that if i remove that particural event from the sources table and then update the event its fine. but how can i get on runtime the actucal index of this eventObj on sources table? Note that, i add the events on the fullCalendar using the .fullCalendar("renderEvent") method. Thanks.

    Hi to all, I'm a new to mono enviroment and I have some question to ask... I'm trying to make a "browser" that display me a web page, well in windows NET is easy I can use Form.Window.WebBrowser. So I test with Moma this app, and it notice me that I can't use Form.Window.Webbroser " mac osx not compatible", Well I search around the web and I find this http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/14918.html but honestly I don't understand why I should use Gdk, and glade so I try to "add reference" to visual studio 2010 RC but I find Monodoc.GeckoHtmlRend then I find an other way using Mono.WebBrowser.dll but again Mono.WebBrowser Mono.WebBrowser.DOM Well my question are: where find documentation about one or other libs if I "add reference..." using menu of visual 2010 rc the dll linked is needed in release file or all library needed is included in release assembly?   • CSS - Why is this invisible margin being applied to my <a> tag css-button?

    I was having trouble with two types of buttons. It was a form button and a css button basically. And I was advised that the css button whould use display:inline-block; This made the whole a href tag actually look like a button. But this invisible margin seems to be screwing up something. I tried separating them into separate css classes, but oddly, applying a real margin to the css button gives an additional margin as well. What's causing this?     Is there a programming language that supports chained notation a < b < c to be used instead of a < b and b < c in conditional statements? Example: if ( 2 < x < 5 ) if ( 2 < x && x < 5 ) First statementlooks better to me, it's easier to understand and the compiler could use transitivity property to warn about mistakes (e.g. 5 < x < 2 would give a warning).

  • Need to find latitude and longitude of postcodes and store into my database

    Hey guys, Ive got a database full of UK Postcodes, now i'd like to be able to store the latitude and longitude of these specific postcodes along with the record with the database. Is there anyway that i can obtain this data free without violating any T&C's? I know i could do this using google maps api for each postcode, but i have way over 20,000 postcodes in this database and to get the lat and lng for each of these postcodes each time is not an option really.     Possible Duplicates: Use only some parts of Django? Using only the DB part of Django I want to use the Django ORM as standalone. Despite an hour of searching Google, I'm still left with several questions: Does it require me to set up my Python project with a setting.py, /myApp/ directory, and modules.py file? Can I create a new models.py and run syncdb to have it automatically setup the tables and relationships or can I only use models from existing Django projects? There seems to be a lot of questions regarding PYTHONPATH. If you're not calling existing models is this needed? I guess the easiest thing would be for someone to just post a basic template or walkthrough of the process, clarifying the organization of the files e.g.: db/ __init__.py settings.py myScript.py orm/ __init__.py models.py And the basic essentials: # settings.py from django.conf import settings settings.configure( DATABASE_ENGINE = "postgresql_psycopg2", DATABASE_HOST = "localhost", DATABASE_NAME = "dbName", DATABASE_USER = "user", DATABASE_PASSWORD = "pass", DATABASE_PORT = "5432" ) # orm/models.py # ... # myScript.py # import models..   • MySQL Query WHERE Including CASE or IF?

    Strange problem. My Query looks like SELECT DISTINCT ID, `etcetc`, `if/elses over muliple joined tables` FROM table1 AS `t1` # some joins, eventually unrelated in that context WHERE # some standard where statements, they work/ CASE WHEN `t1`.`field` = "foo" THEN (`t1`.`anOtherField` != 123 AND `t1`.`anOtherField` != 456 AND `t1`.`anOtherOtherField` != "some String") WHEN `t1`.`field` = "bar" THEN `t1`.`aSecondOtherField` != 12345 END #ORDER BY CASE etc. Standard Stuff Apperantly MySQL returns a wrong rowcount and I think my problem is in the logic of the WHERE ... CASE statement. Maybe with the brackets? Maybe I should go for operator OR and not AND? Should my the second WHEN include brackets also, even when I only compare one field? Should I use IF and not CASE? Basically I want to exclude some rows with specific values IF theres a specific value in field foo or bar I would try that all out, but it takes a huge amount of time to complete that query... :(
