  • Controls resize based on screen resolution

    I have panel control. More controls are in panel.I set the dock property for panel as 'fill' .The panel are resized based on screen resolution. but the controls remains same.The controls in the panel are not resized based on screen solution. i have more labels and panels and text-boxs and button in the same page. How to set the dock property to resize all controls in page based on screen resolution? Thanks for any help

  • Running .NET app from network share in Win 7?

    We have a .NET 1.1 application that we keep on a netowork share. We install the .NET Framerwork to the local PCs and also set the full trust via the following: %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\caspol -pp off -cg LocalIntranet_Zone FullTrust This has worked fine on all PCs to date however now we have a few new PCs with Win7 and the process no longer is working. The app will run fine from a local drive in Win7 but running the networked copy results in a general exception error. Any ideas on how to get this to work under Win7?

Key points are: It's a one-time initial load. Data comes in an Excel file.   • Is there a way to move two squares in OpenGL simultaneously?

    Hi, so I have a function that handles key presses in a game I'm working on in OpenGL. But, the thing is that even though I have made two squares and they both move when the correct key is pressed only one square is moved. Is there a way I can make the two squares move.   • Codeigniter Form Validation - how to unset form values after success?

    I realise this request goes against the example provided in the CI documentation (which advises a separate 'success' page view), but I would like to reutilise a given form view after a form has been successfully submitted - displaying a success message then displaying a blank form. I've tried a few ways unsuccessfully to clear the validation set values (unsetting $_POST, setting rules / fields to an empty array and rerunning validatio). I could redirect to the same page, but then I'd have to set a session variable to display a success message - which is a messy approach. Any ideas how to achieve the above?

    Can anyone tell me the .hgignore pattern to track one specific file in a directory and to ignore everything else? I have a "media" directory which contains a "default.png", for obvious purposes, and the rest of the directory will hold user media. We want hg to ignore everything in the media directory excepting the default file.

  • Loading a Workflow 4 from xaml file and adding it to workflowdesigner

    Hi I have created a couple of activities and stored them as XAML. Opening them in the Workflowdesigner works great and I can Execute them. Now I would like to create a new Activity and add the activities I created to it. Basically loading it from the XAML and into the designer as part of another activity/flow. I have tried adding my activities to the toolbox but the render as dynamicactivity and (understandably) does not work. Any suggestions? Is it even possible? /Jimmy

Using static variables for Strings When you define static fields (also called class fields) of type String, you can increase application speed by using static variables (not final) instead of constants (final). The opposite is true for primitive data types, such as int. For example, you might create a String object as follows: private static final String x = "example"; For this static constant (denoted by the final keyword), each time that you use the constant, a temporary String instance is created. The compiler eliminates "x" and replaces it with the string "example" in the bytecode, so that the BlackBerry® Java® Virtual Machine performs a hash table lookup each time that you reference "x". In contrast, for a static variable (no final keyword), the String is created once. The BlackBerry JVM performs the hash table lookup only when it initializes "x", so access is faster. private static String x = "example"; You can use public constants (that is, final fields), but you must mark variables as private.

  • How can i generate mongoid.yml config in Rail 2.3.5?

    As the title says, how can i generate the default mongoid.yml config file on Rail 2.3.5? I try to use te ´rails generate mongoid:config´ command but it just generates a new app. And also, i would like to use has_many in mongoid without embeding the associated model in the same field. I would like them to be in seperate fields and associated through a *_id "column". Is that possible? Thank you, Micke.
