    Is there any Google Analytics testing/sandbox environment for testing your JS custom code before putting it to live system? I don't want to use my real tracking ID to see if everything is correct on my dev. environment, neither I want to put my code untested live... Is there any techniques or maybe some fake Analytics tracking lib I could use for testing?

  • What is the best IDE to develop Android apps in?

    I am about to start developing an android app and need to get an IDE. Eclipse and the android eclipse plugin appears to be the natural choice. However I am familiar with intelliJ and re-sharper so I would prefer use intelliJ. Has anyone used http://code.google.com/p/idea-android/"http://code.google.com/p/idea-android/? Is this any good? Should I just bite the bullet and learn Eclipse?

  • c# CF Restart a thread

    Hi all, Supose you have a form with a button that starts/stops a thread (NOT pausing or interrupting, I really need to stop the thread !) Check out this code: Constructor() { m_TestThread = new Thread(new ThreadStart(ButtonsThread)); m_bStopThread = false; } ButtonClick { // If the thread is not running, start it m_TestThread.Start(); // If the thread is running, stop it m_bStopThread = true; m_TestThread.Join(); } ThreadFunction() { while(!m_bStopThread) { // Do work } } 2 questions (remember CF): - How can I know if the thread is running (I cannot seem to access the m_pThreadState, and I've tried the C++ GetThreadExitCode(), it give false results) ? - Most important question : if I have stopped the thread, I cannot restart it, most probably because the m_TestThread.m_fStarted is still set (and it is private so I cannot access it) ! And thus m_TestThread.Start() generates an exception (StateException). Stopping the thread with an Abort() doesn't solve it. If I put my m_TestThread = null; it works, but then I create a memory leak. The GC doesn't clean up either, even if I wait for xx seconds. Anybody has an idea ? All help highly appreciated ! Grtz E

    Hi Freinds, I am working on flex dasboards and charting stuff. Till now I have build them for static data only now I want to upgrade them to work for real time data where new data is continuosly sent to client (swf file) from server and it updates the same. I am using Ruby On Rails (RoR) at server side. Is there some thing similar to 'Adbobe live cycle(Java-Flex)' applicable for RoR-Flex architecture that can be used here ? Please share the links for any similar implementation in RoR-Flex architecture. Or if you have some suggestions to share I will really appreciate. Thanks friends.

  • Aquatic Prime on 10.6?

    Hello, I have 2 applications that I use with Aquatic Prime. One is an application just with the Aquatic Prime framework, and the other is an application that I've been working on that has been incorporated with the Aquatic Prime framework. The first application I mentioned before has its SDK set to 10.5 with the architecture to 32-bit. The second application I made has its SDK that is set to 10.6 (which it has to since I need NSRunningApplication) and its architecture to 32-bit. Now my question is, whenever I debug my first application it works perfectly fine, but with my second it gives me this interrupted error right after Running. What's going wrong? I've tried doing some breakpoints like "objc-exception-throw" but all it says is stopped at breakpoint 1. I need 10.6 in my application, but I also need Aquatic Prime. Can anyone help me solve this problem?   • Are these mySQL user settings vulnerable?

    I'm using myphpadmin to manage the databases and I'm new to SQL in general. Am I suppose to keep an open anonymous user on localhost so things like drupal can access mySQL? It seems like having a non-passworded root on my server's hostname is retarded but I don't know what I'm doing with this in general. The user who's name starts with a b is the one I use to login and do things like make a database.

  • Cannot delete files on samba share when authenticated using kerberos

    I have a samba server that authenticates users using LDAP, however it does have kerberos enabled as well. Unfortunately users authenticated using kerberos cannot delete files. I can test this using smbclient - if I use the '-k' switch, I cannot delete the files, if I don't, I can. The users does have read/write/execute access to the directory from where he is trying to delete the file. Any idea what might be wrong?

    Basically I have 2 polygons for my body. When I add a sprite for userData, the position of the texture isn't where I want it to be. What I want to do is adjust the position of the texture within the body.   • Dynamic memory inside a struct

    Hello, I'm editing a piece of code, that is part of a big project, that uses "const's" to initialize a bunch of arrays. Because I want to parametrize these const's I have to adapt the code to use "malloc" in order to allocate the memory. Unfortunately there is a problem with structs: I'm not able to allocate dynamic memory in the struct itself. Doing it outside would cause to much modification of the original code. Here's a small example: int globalx,globaly; struct bigStruct{ struct subStruct{ double info1; double info2; bool valid; }; double data; //subStruct bar[globalx][globaly]; subStruct ** bar=(subStruct**)malloc(globalx*sizeof(subStruct*)); for(int i=0;i<globalx;i++) bar[i]=(*subStruct)malloc(globaly*sizeof(subStruct)); }; int main(){ globalx=2; globaly=3; bigStruct foo; for(int i=0;i<globalx;i++) for(int j=0;j<globaly;j++){ foo.bar[i][j].info1=i+j; foo.bar[i][j].info2=i*j; foo.bar[i][j].valid=(i==j); } return 0; } Note: in the program code I'm editing globalx and globaly were const's in a specified namespace.     Hi. I'm finding a way to extract semantic structural informations (like title, heading, paragraph or lists) from PDF. Because I want to get a pure structural data from PDF. Finally, I want to create an pure XHTML from the PDF. With only structural informations. No design or layout. I know, PDF can be created without any structural information. I don't consider those PDFs. Only regularly well-structured PDFs are considered. I'm new to PDF. So I don't know it offers regular semantic structure or not. If it exists, it's library will offer it. So I want to know whether PDF spec has those information, and best way to get those information if exists.

    Hi, i have the following problem. I fill a ListView with a custom ArrayAdapter with data from a BD. However, in background, i'm updating those datas from the info provided by an API, so the idea is when the update finish, the adapter shows the updated data instead its "old version". The problem is that when i do that, i notice a lag while the adapter is updating itself. Is the any efficient solution to avoid this? Thanks
