    Script pulls data from mysql: $DBI::result = $db->prepare(qq{ SELECT close FROM $table WHERE day <= '$DATE' ORDER BY day DESC LIMIT $EMA }); $DBI::result->execute(); while($row = $DBI::result->fetchrow) { print "$row\n"; }; with the following example results: 1.560 1.560 1.550... But I need to work out the EMA using Math::Business::EMA; and I'm not sure how to calculate this while maintaining the accuracy. EMA is weighted and My lack of Perl knowledge is not helping.

  • Casting and getting values from date picker and time picker in android

    Hi , I have a date picker and a time picker in my app. Can anyone tell me how to get the values of the date and time that are selected??? What i mean to say is, for EditText we can declare as final EditText Name = (EditText) this.findViewById(R.id.nametext); and we can cast the data of it by using Name.getText().toString(). So similarly how can we get the values of date picker and time picker to a string???

  • SVN Mac oSX issue - permissions?

    Hello there, /Volumes/sites is a connection to a samba share that hosts some of our sites. We authorise using a username & password that is the same user/pass to log onto the mac. When committing, (or even doing a cleanup) from the Mac Client side using the svn command line tool or SCPlugin, this error occurs: Commit succeeded, but other errors follow: Error bumping revisions post-commit (details follow): In directory '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html' Error processing command 'committed' in '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html' Error replacing text-base of 'index.php' Can't move '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html/.svn/tmp/text-base/index.php.svn-base' to '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html/.svn/text-base/index.php.svn-base': Operation not permitted Any ideas? I think it's to do with permissions on the mac side not being able to move files around on the samba share. Apologies if my question is kinda vague so any extra information I can give please shout.   • Meta Information within Apache config files

    I have a number of VirtualHosts config files controlling sites served on Ubuntu server using Apache. I'm writing a ruby script to parse these files, and then display information about the site being hosted. One of the things I'd like to do is display a user friendly name for each site for easier identification, rather than relying on ServerName, or ServerAlias, to determine the site name. Does anyone know of an Apache configuration directive that exists for this purpose, or for displaying other related meta information about a config file, or will I have to use comments rather than a directive instead? Thanks!

  • Creating a chain of certificates

    This question is a follow up to my previous question, which was, in retrospect, not completely answered: http://superuser.com/questions/126121/how-to-create-my-own-certificate-chain. I'll represent my certificate chain like this: ROOT - A - B - C - ... I am now able to create the ROOT and A certificates, but I didn't succeed in continueing the chain. My command for creating the root certificate is: openssl req -new -newkey rsa:1024 -nodes -out ca.csr -keyout ca.key openssl x509 -trustout -signkey ca.key -days 365 -req -in ca.csr -out ca.pem Certificate A: openssl genrsa -out client.key 1024 openssl req -new -key client.key -out client.csr openssl ca -in client.csr -out client.cer This command depends on the root certificate implicitly using the data found in the openssl config file. Certificate B will only rely on A, so the previous command won't work here. How can I complete the chain?

    Hi, I'm trying to work out how to get a div (#tips) to appear when the user scrolls into the 2nd quarter of its containing div's height (#wrap), and then have it disappear when the user scrolls into the last quarter. So it would be like this: 1st quarter - #tips is hidden 2nd quarter - #tips is visible 3rd quarter - #tips is visible 4th quarter - #tips is hidden I'm almost completely new to jQuery but what I've got so far is this: function addKeyboardNavigation(){ // get the height of #wrap var $wrapHeight = $('#wrap').outerHeight() // get 1/4 of wrapHeight var $quarterwrapHeight = ($wrapHeight)/4 // get 3/4 of wrapHeight var $threequarterswrapHeight = 3*($wrapHeight) // check if we're over a quarter down the page if( $(window).scrollTop() > $quarterwrapHeight ){ // if we are show keyboardTips $("#tips").fadeIn("slow"); } } This is where I get confused.   • How get Tomahawk functionality with JSF 2.0 (Glassfish V3)

    I've started to upgrade an existing application written with JSF 1.1 and MyFaces Tomahawk 1.1 to JSF 2.0 to get facelets etc. I've now run into the snag that apparently Tomahawk is not JSF 2.0 compatible as it expects the stand-alone version of Facelets instead of the built-in to JSF 2.0 with the following error: org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: CONFIGURATION FAILED! com.sun.facelets.tag.jsf.ComponentHandler (it appears to be placed in javax.faces.view.facelets now). I have looked around and there doesn't seem to be a JSF 2.0 facelet compatible version of Tomahawk. I only believe I need t:updateActionListener (inside t:dataTable) and the rowSpan facility of t:panelGroup. Is all this functionality available in JSF 2.0 directly, or must I locate a new library giving this? Any suggestions?

    Hi all, I've a flat file that I cleaned the data out using SSIS, the output looks like that : MEDICAL ADMIT PATIENT PATIENT DATE OF DX REC NO DATE NUMBER NAME DISCHARGE Code DRG # 123613 02/16/09 12413209 MORIBALDI ,GEMMA 02/19/09 428.20 988 130897 01/23/09 12407193 TINLEY ,PATRICIA 01/23/09 535.10 392 139367 02/27/09 36262509 THARPE ,GLORIA 03/05/09 562.10 392 141954 02/25/09 72779499 SHUMATE ,VALERIA 02/25/09 112.84 370 141954 03/07/09 36271732 SHUMATE ,VALERIA 03/10/09 493.92 203 145299 01/21/09 12406294 BAUGH ,MARIA 01/21/09 366.17 117 and the report (final results) attached in the screen shot from the final excel report. so what's happening is IF the same name or same account number is duplicate, that means the patient has entered the hospital again and needs to be included in the report. ![alt text][1] what I need to do is... Eliminate any rows that is NOT duplicate (not everybody in this file has been admitted again) and compare the dates to get the ReAdmitdate and ReDischargedate I dumped the data into a SQL table and trying to compare the dates to figure out "ReAdmitdate" and "ReDischargedate" any help is appreciated.   • Perl : localtime with print

    Hi all, I have used the following statements to get the current time. print "$query executed successfully at ",localtime; print "$query executed successfully at ",(localtime); print "$query executed successfully at ".(localtime); Output executed successfully at 355516731103960 executed successfully at 355516731103960 executed successfully at Wed Apr 7 16:55:35 2010 The first two statements are not printing the current time in a date format. Third statement only giving the correct output in a date format. My understanding is the first one is returning a value in scalar context,so it is returning numbers. Then in the second print I used localtime in list context only,why it's also giving number output.

Could someone provide me an example of classes working smoothly together. I have 3 (maybe more) classes: mysql user alerts As I said, could someone provide an example, so these classes could use functions from each other class, e.g. user could use mysql's functions.     I have been having issues trying to return distinct records from a subsonic3 query using VB. My base query looks like so: Dim q As New [Select]("Region") q.From("StoreLocation") q.Where("State").IsEqualTo(ddlState.SelectedValue) q.OrderAsc("Region") This returns duplicates. How can I add a distinct clause in this to return distinct records? I have been trying to place around with Contraints, but to no avail. Thanks in advance HR
