  • Converting a ts object to a plain old vector in R

    - by taskforce145
I need to use a function on a vector that does not take a ts object. I'm trying to convert it to a plain old vector but I just can't seem to figure it out. I googled around but mostly people are trying to convert data types into ts object. I want to go the other way. Any help would be appreciated.

  • understanding of FPS and the methods they use

    - by numerical25
Just looking on resources that break down how frames per second work. I know it has something to do with keeping track of Ticks and figure out how many ticks occured between each frame. But I never ran into any resources on why exactly you have to use the methods you use in order to get a smooth frame work. I am trying to get a thourough understanding of this. Can any explain or provide any good resources ? Thanks

I'm trying to make a script that will place a list (in a .csv file) of processes that are running that take up more than 10 mb of RAM and shows the time + date the script was run. My teacher did this during his lecture but I can't remember how he did it. Just trying to figure out how to be better at IT. So my question is, can anyone help me with this? I don't even know where to start.

  • Python : Convert from C-Char to Int

    - by cuband
I have a string read in from a binary file that is unpacked using struct.unpack as a string of length n. Each byte in the string is a single integer (1-byte) representing 0-255. So for each character in the string I want to convert it to an integer. I can't figure out how to do this. Using ord doesn't seem to be on the right track...

  • Hook perm for more than one content type

    - by Andrew
Drupal 6.x I have this module that manages four different content types. For that matter, how do I define permission for each content within the same module? Is that even possible? I can't figure out how to define permission for each content type cuz hook_perm has to be named with module name and it doesn't have any argument(like hook_access $node) to return permission base on content type. Any help would be highly appreciated.

  • C++ constructor problem, values not being set

    - by 2Real
Hi, I'm new to C++ and I'm trying to figure out this problem I'm having with my constructor for one of my classes. What happens is... all my variables are initialized properly except two (health and type). #pragma once #include <irrlicht.h> #include <vector> #include <cassert> using namespace irr; using namespace core; using namespace scene; enum { PLAYER = 0, NPC = 1, SOLDIER = 2, CHAINGUNNER = 3 }; class Model { public: Model(void); Model(int id, std::vector<ISceneNode*> modelVec, int modType); ~Model(void); std::vector<int> path; std::vector<ISceneNode*> model; int endNode; int type; int animate; int health; u32 lastAnimation; private: int mId; }; #include "Model.h" Model::Model(void) { //assert(false); } Model::Model(int id, std::vector<ISceneNode*> modelVec, int modType) { path = std::vector<int>(); model = modelVec; endNode = 0; type = modType; animate = 0; health = 100; lastAnimation = 0; mId = id; } Model::~Model(void) {} I create a model with Model soldier(id, model, SOLDIER) Everything is set properly except type and health. I've tried many different things, but I cannot figure out my problem. I'm not sure but the default constructor is being called. It doesn't make sense because I make no called to that constructor. Thanks,

  • Entity Relationships - Can a weak entity take part in a 'one to many' relationship as the 'one'

    - by jonos
Hi, With the following entity relationship structure I'm struggling to figure out if the relationship between the LOAN and ITEM is valid? The weak entity of Loan uses a partial key of 'loan_dateLeant' and the primary keys from CUSTOMER and ITEM to form its primary key. However LOAN has a 'one to many' relationship with ITEM as a loan can consist of more than one item. But surely this means that if more than one item is loaned, then the loan record will have two item_id values for part of its primary key?

  • Is there a way to create a WCF DataContract on a third party type?

    - by Michael Hedgpeth
I am migrating to wcf and trying to figure out how I'm going to declare my Data Contracts properly. Some of the types I have been demoting are from a third party that I am unable to change. Are attributes the only way to explicitly declare data contracts in wcf? I know about the auto data contract functionality in 3.5, but the books I'm readin discourage that. And besides, that way assumes all state is publically available, which is oftentimes not the case.

  • Published software not displayed in Add/Remove Programs

I could follow all the steps, but the supposedly successfully published software does not appear on client/user machine's Add/Remove Programs. Could some help figure why this may not be working. Update: On reading this question on Experts-Exchange, tried gpresults. Output extract follows: COMPUTER SETTINGS The following GPOs were not applied because they were filtered out XADistribution Filtering: Denied (Security) Default Domain Policy Filtering: Denied (Security)

  • Does the iPhone 3G/3Gs camera put metadata in its images? (and how do you get it?)

    - by Ben Collins
I've been trying to figure how whether the iPhone (either 3G or 3Gs) camera puts metadata into it's images. Anecdotally, it appears that it does (e.g., I've seen images posted on the web that included a bunch of metadata), but I can't find reference to it anywhere in the SDK documentation. So....does anyone have a definitive answer? Also, if there is metadata, how do I get at it?
