Whats the best api/resource to get a zip5plus4 from an address?
I don't want a resource that needs to be downloaded and updated from time to time; I want one that's updated automagically.
I'm looking for some Linux code to find an IP address from an Ethernet adress. I suppose I have to do some inverse ARP trickery but I don't find any example...
How can I use .htaccess to forward a visitor of a specific IP address to a webpage on my server?
This example causes an infinite loop:
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} ^123\.\123\.123\.123$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /specialpage.php [R,L]
I found this on the web but it just does not work:
SetEnvIf REMOTE_ADDR 123.123.123.123 REDIR="redir"
RewriteCond %{REDIR} redir
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /specialpage.php
Note: My website consists of .htm, html and .php pages.
Your help would be very much appreciated.
Some times whenever I restart the application, which is built on
Java
Struts
Mysql and Jboss 4.05 Version
I get the error as Address already in use: JVM_Bind
Only fix that i know is to restart the machine and try again, it will work.
Else Some times I do Ctrl-Alt-Del and Stop all the process related to Java, some times this also works.
But what is the exact reason and how can we prevent this problem ?
I want to know whether one session is been created for each IP address or for each browser instance?
I opened my JSP application in three browser windows. It creates three different sessions?
Suppose I want to use a single session for multiple instance of browser, is it possible or not?
I'm getting some problems trying Google Geocoding service when using special characters like "º" or letters with accents.
Whenever I try something like:
"barcelona, nº 10"
I get 0 results. But trying:
"barcelona n 10"
I get results...
I suspect is something related with encoding.
I tried this:
geocoder.geocode({'address': encodeURI( $('#direction').val() )}, function(){} );
But didn't help.
Any Idea?
We have a requirement to log IP address information of all users who use a certain web application based on JEE 5. What would be an appropriate sql data type for storing IPv4 or IPv6 addressses in the following supported databases (h2, mysql, oracle). There is also a need to filter activity from certain IP addresses. Should I just treat the representation as a string field (say varchar(32) to hold ipv4, ipv6 addresses)
Hi guys.
I know the ABSOLUTE ADDRESS of the next instruction is located 50000 (hex), and I know that the hex value that should be in the IP Register is 4000 (hex). My question is... Why does it work like this?
I have the other registry values available if they're needed.
Any idea?
Hello Friends,
i once had the chance to look at a website, where design was showcased but sorted in a special manner. You were able to look at footers, headers, login menus, and all kinds of parts from different sites.
If anyone can remember the address i would be very happy about it.
Thanks for reading.
Hey guys
I'm trying to use a RegularexpressionValidator to match an IP address (with possible wildcards) for an IP filtering system.
I'm using the following Regex:
"([0-9]{1,3}\\.|\\*\\.){3}([0-9]{1,3}|\\*){1}"
Which works fine when running it in LINQPad with Regex.Matches, but doesn't seem to work when I'm using the validator.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to either a better Regex or why it would work in test but not in situ?
Cheers, Ed
I want to change the text of the top address bar without reloading, I know the methods window.location.href and window.location.hash, but I want to do it without appending a "#" to the URL.
Is it possible?
Thanks.
Does anyone know the address of the default RHEL repository?
We rent a server that is hosted by a third-party and one of our users seems to have "deleted" a lot of the RHN packages from our box; included was the rhn-yum-plugin.
I really don't want to waste one our support requests on having them load up the DVD into the box and re-initializing the RHN software.
Thanks.
I want to extract a user country name from visitors' IP addresses.
I could get the IP address with remote_ip. But what could be
the easiest way to get the country name?
It doesn't have to be super accurate. Any ruby library (gem or plugin) to do this?
I want an simple and easy solution for this.
I have built an application in CakePHP that lists businesses. There are about 2000 entries, and the latitude and longitude coordinates for each business is in the DB.
I now am trying to tackle the search function.
There will be an input box where the user can put a street address, city, or zipcode, and then I would like it to return the 11 closest businesses as found from the database.
How would I go about doing this?
I would like to understand a bit more about memory and I was unable to find it from Google, please forgive me if this is silly question.
How come the following code, accessing memory address 0(and up to 65535) in C# would throw NullReferenceException
byte* pointer = (byte*)0;
byte test = *pointer;
Thanks a lot in advance!
Hi,
I'd like to discuss about different SMS Address Formats. In built-in contact of Motorola Milestone, phone no is saved as
914-383-46
I'd like to know that only "-" is included in any phone no format? Other characters possible? like "/", "space", etc...
PS: I've just only used Nokia 6210 and Motorola Milestone. So let me know other phones' format.
Is there an easy way to convert an int to an IP address in PostgreSQL? I was able to go from IP to int using this code:
SELECT inet '1.2.3.4'-'0.0.0.0'
This doesn't work:
SELECT 16909060::inet
I didn't see anything in the documentation. Does anyone know how to do this?
Does anyone know an easy way to hide hashtags in the user's address bar? I am using a image gallery plugin and the only way to control the start position is to use a hash tag.
The problem is the hash tag gives away the relative path of the images folder and it looks bad.
Without the hash tag it only loads thumbs and not start image so really it's unavoidable.
Thanks!
Heyy guys
I wanted to check if anyone knows of a reliable API that we can use to determine the user's city and country from his IP address.
My search on Google led to http://ipinfodb.com/ip_location_api.php
It seems perfect but my only concern is the reliability of this service.
Does google have anything like this.
If you know any other Free or paid API's that help determine user's location from his IP - please let me know
THanks
I am using MySQL server on Ubuntu 10.04 and after changing the bind-address from 127.0.0.1 to my webserver IP in /etc/mysql/my.cnf the mysql server fails to load. Any clues will be highly appreciated!
I have tried disabling iptables but useless
Thanks,
Using C++ and GCC, can I declare an extern variable that uses a specific address in memory?
Something like
int key attribute((__at(0x9000)));
AFAIK this specific option only works on embedded systems. If there is such an option for use on the x86 platform, how can I use it?
I have application that uses IPV4 addresses (it stores them as long), so it only understands IPV4 addresses. Is it possible to convert IPV6 address to IPV4 with Java?
