    Hi! I have this annoying problem that Windows 7 won't reconnect to my network drives on startup. The shares are on an Ubuntu machine. I've tried every possible solution I've found: Enable password on logon to give the network interface time to boot up Check Connect using different credentials Tried both options in this screen Sorry for the long post.     Hi guys, i'm working on a issue that i have on my sftp server. the issue is that when folder quota is reached and someone try to upload a file, he didnt get any error code and he deposit a 0 bytes file. so i want to know if there's any solution (integrity check for example) to check if the file is well transferred. thanks !!

  • Multiple computers in SBS domain that need a Remote Desktop Connection with a sub domain

    Hi all, I've been searching the internet for a while for this answer. I have a bunch of computers that are part of a small business server domain and would like to be able to connect to each one individually with remote desktop connection using a subdomain, like: computer1.mydomain.org computer2.mydomain.org etc... I can currently connect to the server easily using an A record with the subdomain pointing to the static IP address with home.mydomain.org, so computer1.home.mydomain.org would also be cool. Thanks!

  • Chrome keeps crashing a short while after startup

    Hi, whenever I turn on Chrome, it crashes after a very short while (less than a minute). It started happening about a week ago for no apparent reason. I didn't install any new software, update or uninstall anything (as far as I remember), it just crashes. It doesn't matter wether I even open any page or not, Chrome just dies, period. Doesn't anybody have an idea why might that be? I'm running on Windows Vista Home Basic.

    Hi, I'm looking for a solution that'll automatically sync file system changes in "/folder1" to "/folder2". Any change should be synced (deleted files, new folders etc.) without any confirmation. Preferably the changes will happen to "/folder2" instantly. "/folder1" is on my hdd "/folder2" is on a server on the LAN (can be accessed via SSH or NFS) I'm on OS X 10.6.     Hi In this scenario there is point -to point serial connection between R6 and R7 , there is router R10 whose interface F0/0 is having ip address of 10.1.1.2/24 and there is a host machine (R9) with ip address 10.1.1.1/24 which is running an application, My problem is that Application on R9 will only work when it will get its Gateway as 10.1.1.1/24 which is of router (R10) , is there any way i can make R6 and R7 transparent for R9 and R10, Or any type of routing using GRE / Route-map or any other way.     Hi I wanted to restrict the download limit in the Squid proxy so I added the following two lines in the squid.conf. acl officelan dst 192.168.1.0/24 reply_body_max_size 30000000 deny officelan Now, I want to allow some/particular IP to download more than 30MB limitation so I included another acl as alowedip and included the following lines but this is not working. acl allowedip dst 192.168.1.81 reply_body_max_size 0 allow allowedip How do I allow acl allowedip to have unlimited download ? The only thing I'm able to do is open the task manager ad kill the application that suddenly restart.     Hi all I have recently purchased some so called 256gb Kingston drives that are fake I used a program called check flash and few other to check for dead sectors and read speed and read and write speed the results are as follows: they were reading at 1.35 mbps at best they read and wrote at 0.95 mbps and had a hell of a lot of dead sectors so what I ask is: Is there a way to drop the size to improve speed Is there any other way to improve speed How can I stop the device from addressing the dead sectors Any help will be much appreciated ALL THE THANKS (MADYOTTO)
