• Writing user stories for internal technical tasks

  I am attempting to manage my projects a little better so I am looking at attempting to apply some of (eventually all) the features of scrum. Looking at user stories specifically the high level format seems to be: As a User I can Feature Description or Artifact is Doing Something How would I write "Upgrade the Database"? Is it simply Upgrade the Database? I think I am being thrown off as there is no specific actor/customer and that the customer is the IT department.

  I am trying to declare a class B in a namespace A using Luabind (from the Lua side). I figure that if Luabind has a clean way to do this, it would look something like this: class 'A.B' (Super) function A.B:__init() Super.__init(self) end Notice that the B class is defined in the A table. I know the following hackish way of doing this: class 'A.B' (Super) A = {} A.B = _G['A.B'] However, I would really like to know if Luabind provides this feature explicitly.

When the user opens the view he should see the image with the four blue dots which enable him to resize it. Is there an available example for this? • In TFS 2010 how do you actually create a "ChangeSet"

  I've been reading all this stuff about Changesets in TFS, and how you can build and leave out changesets etc. this and that... check in a bunch of files into one Changeset. But how do you physically do it? I see "Shelve changes" which I understand but I don't understand how you actually create a "Changeset" called "New Feature A" and check in all the files associated.

  Here's my scenario. I have a web site, which automatically posts updates to Twitter using cURL at the moment. But I hear Twitter is going to turn this feature off and move to OAuth. I tried implementing OAuth in my site, but the user actually has to manually authenticate before being able to post anything to twitter. How can I use OAuth and still let my website post updates automatically, without me having to manually click on "authenticate"?

  Hi All, I have a small application in java which searches images using bing image search. The problem I am facing is that, its getting only first 20 images.   I am trying to map an entity in NHibernate, that should have an Updated column. This should be the DateTime when the entity was last written to the database (either created or updated). I'd like NHibernate to control the update of the column, so I don't need to remember to set a property to the current time before updating. Is there a built-in feature in NHibernate, that can handle this for me ?

  I'm using the nice feature in QMessageBox to optionally show detailed text to the user. However, the window after expansion is still fairly small, and one immediately tries to resize the window so more of the details are visible. Even after setting what I think are the proper settings it won't allow resizing.
