• Best method to store Enum in Database

  What is the best method of storing an Enum in a Database using C# And Visual Studio and MySQL Data Connector. I am going to be creating a new project with over 100 Enums, and majority of them will have to be stored in the database. Creating converters for each one would be a long winded process therefore I'm wondering if visual studio or someone has any methods for this that I haven't heard off.

  What modules would be the best to write a python program that searches through hundreds of html documents and deletes a certain string of html that is given. For instance, if I have an html doc that has <a href="test.html">Test</a> and I want to delete this out of every html page that has it.   Need to create a application which reads input from card reader. Input coming from card reader as strings which is similar to the keyboard event. In flex,I can catch this string by listening key event. Problem is that when someone presses key while swiping a card from card reader. Both will be appended in the input. How can i resolve this? Again when I execute script now through xterm client in my PC size of button widget differs.   Hi, I was looking up how to create a view programmatically and found the following example code: self.view = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, 320, 480)]; This works great, except I don't like that it hardcodes the size of the screen. Is there a way to look up the size of the screen? An important point someone brought up is that if the app is running during a phone call then the screen will be slightly smaller because of the green "return to call" bar.

  I am debugging someone else's work and the solution is quite large. When I try to build the entire thing, several projects within the solution don't build and just skip. Viewing the output window during the build process says: 1------ Skipped Rebuild All: Project: pr1lib ------ How can I determine why these builds were skipped? I am unable to find additional output. This is with VS2008 and the solution is comprised of c# and c++ code.
