    I'm using jquery and in one function I'm calling multiple function which are doing different ajax request for example function contactForm(){ loadCountryList(); loadMyData(); checkUserType(); // doing my stuff } How can I know if all the ajax request are completed so that I start doing my stuff in the end? I don't want to call them one by one to minimize the request time. any suggestion will help me a lot.

    I have a page that has a tab set. Each of the tabs is loaded by the jQuery .load() function. I want to display a loading animation that disappears when all of the ajax requests are finished. However, document.ready() has only provided me with limited success. How can I ensure that all ajax requests are completed before executing the code to hide the loading animation? Thanks!

I have been able to add it to my site by copying the code from the site but I'm seeing that if I have a form in one of my tabs, I can't post any of the results successfully. Has anyone used this plug-in and gotten used to its functionality? I need help figuring out where to input my php code for form handling and have the results returned the page loaded in the tab.

I also have this big image and when you click on one of the thumbnails, the image is replaced by the thumbnail and thats really the thumbnail I want to exclude...Could I possible just say if one of the 3 images src = this one image = src remove the class from this thumbnail? Which way would be better? I am very new at jquery :( I hope this makes sense.     Hi! I have looked at several tutorials involving rails 3 and jquery. The tutorial at http://www.blog.bridgeutopiaweb.com/post/how-to-use-jquery-for-rails-3/ looked promising. However, I get the errors of document.on is not a function and $("a[data-remote=true]").livequery is not a function I get the feeling that I should look at another tutorial or just use jquery raw and not install a ruby gem for jquery. Any advice? Thanks!

  • jQuery slideToggle - when div is toggled it pushes content out of viewable area (IE)

    This is an annoying ocurrance in IE when I use the jQuery slideToggle effect. Without the div being open, page looks normal. The minute I toggle the div open, it extends past the current content, overtop of the footer, and out of the viewable browser area (Even after scrolling all the way down). This feature seems to work just fine in firefox. Do I need an additional hack or CSS to make it work in IE8?
