  • How to fix emacs popup dialogs on mac?

    Hello emacs gurus, I'm out of ideas here - my emacs crashes when popup dialog is opened. The x-popup-dialog function is probably to blame but I found no workaround to this. My Emacs version is 23.1.1 . Unfortunately some functionality of emacs calls this (e.x. customize asks whether it should save the changes) which causes the crash. Does anybody know how to fix it or disable it?

    Hello, I recently generate two versions of Java classes generated by JAXB. So I get two packages : V1_0 and V2_0 I notice that I have only one ObjectFactory generated. The problem is that this ObjectFactory is specific to a version (here it's specific to my version v1_0). So the question is : Could I configure JAXB to allow to make one ObjectFactory for each version ? Thanks a lot.

    Hello experts! I'm having a weird issue here. I have a bunch of Views, in which I have characters like this: é, á, ó, etc. In one of my Views, I can fetch data from the database with accents just fine, but in another one I simply get the "weird" characters.     Hello, I am trying to read a XML document with C#, I am doing it this way: XmlDocument myData = new XmlDocument(); myData.Load("datafile.xml"); anyway, I sometimes get comments when reading XmlNode.ChildNodes. Is there a way to avoid that? I know that you can avoid reading comments if you use XmlReader, but then, how to get the XmlDocument out of a XmlReader? Thank you Tommaso

    Hello. I need to represent floats in jTable formatted. When I do tbl.model.add_row [obj, 1.3524632478].to_java, obj is represented as it's to_s method's return value, but float do not. This is what i used: file_count = sum((len(f) for _, _, f in os.walk('path'))) This works fine when we specify the path as a string in quotes, but when I enter a variable name that holds the path, type(file_count) is a generator object, and hence cannot be used as an integer. How to solve this and why does this happen?
