    Ok, I've got a lightbox with a small form (2 fields) in it, inside an UpdatePanel, and I want to close this lightbox (must be done via javascript) when the 'Save' button is pressed. However, there is a need to have a server-side CustomValidator on the page, and I only want to close the lightbox if this returns as valid. Does anyone know a way to trigger javascript (or jQuery) code from a server-side validator?

    Hi, My problem is: I've got a table, dynamically created, fill with a lot of dropdownlists witches IDs are dynamically created. When a button is pressed, I need to scan all controls in the table and save their value. But after the postback I can't no longer access to the table, and I've no idea how can I get those values...     If you create a simple button and then choose Edit Template - Edit a Copy, Blend will automatically generate a style area, along with all the button states (MouseEnter, MouseLeave, Pressed, etc). No where in the generated code does it say that on a "MouseOver" event, change the state to "MouseOver", but it still manages to work! How does a standard button do it? Is there some sort of AutoEventWireUp going on?

Given this I need to write the following function : bool ShouldAccept(char newChar,string existingText) existingText can be comma seperated valid numbers(including exponential) and it should just return false when invalid characters are pressed. My code(if else based) currently has a lot of flaws, I wanted to know if there is any smart way to do it.

    Sometimes R stops displaying output. I type the number 1, followed by the return key, and nothing appears. This situation occurred after I pressed the "STOP" icon in the window, which is for stopping long calculations. I'm using R 2.11.0 on a Mac. Does pressing "STOP" cause R to stop displaying output? How do I get R to display output again?

  • How do you create an invisible button that covers the whole screen including navigation controller?

    I have a simple tableview that navigates to a detailed view with a navigation controller. In the detailed view I need to create a button which when pressed isolates all other buttons displayed on the screen including the navigation controller back button. I know how to get the invisible button to cover most of buttons the screen but I can't get it to cover the navigation controller back button as this has been created in the parent view. How do I pop it over the top of the navigation controller from the detail view?

"the file 'Simple-Info.plist' could not be opened because there is no such file".But the file is there in the project!
