• nested iFrame facebook app with facebooker on IE

  Hi all, I've tried to create simple facebook app with iFrame,, but I always get nested iFrame on every I click link on my application, I already tried a solution from site http://railsrant.com/2009/10/14/creating-a-facebook-iframe-app-using-ruby-on-rails-facebooker/ it's work on Firefox and Chrome, but doesn't work at IE Any idea or suggestion for this?   Hi all, I use the line below in my C# winform app, this works great but occasionally if the program is being run from the command line I get an error that the config.xml file cannot be found. This is because the 'working directory' is different (I think), I need to say "load config.xml from current directory", how would I do this? docXML.Load("config.xml"); Thanks Jonathan

  Hi: I Suddenly found that I have no idea about the concept of data format and the encoding. For exmpale, what is the differences about the ascii/binary/base64/text-xml ? For a real case, I am working with a web service whose parameter I have to define,however one of the parameter should be ascii,another is binary and the last is netcdf. So,how to define it? ALso I wonder the ascii needed parameter can be a .txt or .dat ?

  Hi everybody! In a winforms application i 'm storing one Wingdings char in a SQL Server 2005 field of type NVARCHAR(1). Storing, retrieving and showing up this char in a control works fine. The problem i'm facing is this: how to search for records which have a specific wingding char value: for example Select * from table where FieldWithWingding = valueOfLeftArrowChar How to achieve this? What is the benefit of setting the -Xms parameter, and having the initial memory larger for example, then the default calculated one (64 MB in my case, according to Java GC tunning: http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/hotspot/gc/gc_tuning_6.html#par_gc.ergonomics.default_size)? Also, is there any good to setting both the initial and maximum memories to same size? Thanks.

  Hi, I've run into an issue porting a codebase from linux (gcc) to windows (msvc). It seems like the C99 function vsscanf isn't available and has no obvious replacement. I've read about a solution using the internal function _input_l and linking statically to the crt runtime, but unfortunately I cannot link statically since it would mess with all the plugins (as dlls) being loaded by the application. So is there any replacement or a way to write a wrapper for vsscanf?

A left arithmetic shift by n is equivalent to multiplying by 2n (provided the value does not overflow), while a right arithmetic shift by n of a two's complement value is equivalent to dividing by 2n(2 to the power n) and rounding toward negative infinity. If the binary number is treated as ones' complement, then the same right-shift operation results in division by 2n and rounding toward zero. Thankx..
