  • UDP port binding by multiple applications?

    hello i am trying to bind multiple applications running on different pc's across a single lan network is it a good idea when all applications are receiving on same port and sending at same port for example. app1 (receiving at 10000 port , sending at some ip2 and 10000 port) app2 (receiving at 10000 port , sending at some ip1 and 10000 port) any other good idea for performing this task is also accepted .

    Hello, I have written a webservice which is taking URL as an input and producing a JSON respone. My problem is that now I have list of 1000 URLs and want to execute maximum threads of Webapplications to get output. Like I want to execute 100 instances of webservice at a time to get response.Please can anybody give some guidance how can I do it using java. Thank you in advance

    Hello everyone, I have a 3D object with about 2000 or 3000 triangles. I want to reduce the number of triangle without affecting shape of object. for eg, I have two triangles, (1,1.5,2) (1.5,1.5,2) (1.7,2,2) (1.5,1.5,2) (1.7,2,2) (2,1.5,2) In this case these two triangle is same as a single triangle - (1,1.5,2) (2,1.5,2) (1.7,2,2) I dont want the manual method, But if there is any direct function or such thing which will reduce my triangle list. I have some code which shows a simple dialog box and handles user action (written using plain WinAPI). // Display dialog and handle user action LRESULT choice = DialogBoxParam(NULL, MAKEINTRESOURCE(AP_IDD_DIALOG), NULL, (DLGPROC)DialogCallback, NULL); Is there any way to hardcode the resource file dialog.rc, which is used to build the dialog ?(I would like to get rid of .rc files and I'm pretty sure there is a way, yet I don't know what it is :)

    hello whatever i append to $('click_filter1') it shows the error ... is not a function (for show(), hide(), toggle()) if i insert an alert, the alert gets executed, so the framework is init ok the element with the id exists for sure what can be the problem of this? why iam getting this error? $('click_filter1').addEvent('click', function() { $('click_filter1').show(); }.bind(this));

    Hello, I am trying to replace a string with a new string in a python file and write the new string permanently to it. When I run the below script it removes part of the string and not all of it. The string in the file is: self.id = "027FC8EBC2D1" And the script I have to replace the string is: def edit(): o = open("test.py","r+") #open for line in open("test.py"): line = line.replace("027FC8EBC2D1","NewValue") o.write(line) o.close() edit() Thanks for any help.

    Hello guys, I've installed MAMP on my MacBook PRO Leopard OS. Phpmyadmin is working fine but I would like to use the terminal or bash to practice MySQL. I seem to have a problem with it. When I say: "mysql -h localhost -u root -p" / "mysql -h localhost -u root", it gives the following error. ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES/NO) Please suggest any solutions possible! Thanx in advance. :)

    Hello, in my web page a user fill a form who send information to a MySql database. One of the data inputs sent is a date/time, in the format date('l jS \of F Y h:i:s A'); (I can change the format as needed) So when the user submits the form i wanna check if the actual time/date is 30 seconds more than the sent time/date in order to allow or not the submission of the form.
