  • Visual Studio & RAD support for coding directly in IL?

    - by jdk
For the longest time I've been curious to code in Intermediate Language just as an academic endeavour and to gain a better understanding of what's "happening under the hood". Does anybody provide Visual Studio support for *IL in the form of: project templates, IntelliSense integration, and those kind of RAD features? Edits: I don't mean restricted to out of the box support. For example, I can download Visual Studio extensions to support Python, COBOL, etc. Want the same for *IL. There is a stand-alone Intermediate Assembler tool.

  • Does it make sense to test ui components seperately?

    - by Bless Yahu
I'm working on a webform that has about 15 user controls, separated by context (comments, locations, members/leaders, etc).   If each control can render individually (using real or test data), does it make sense to have a seperate "functional" test page to test them in isolation or is there a better way?

  • Clustered Index

    - by Charu
Which type of index(clustered/non clustrered) should be used for Insert/Update/Delete statement in SQL Server. I know it creates an additional overhead but is it better in performance as comparison to non clustered index? Also which index should be use for Select statements in SQL Server?

    - by pure841
So, I have this source: http://paste2.org/p/808870 Now, it works getting the source, however, it keeps repeating afterwards. For example: http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/7259/outputq.png Notice how it says , then continues? I was wondering how I can avoid that. I know I can limit the buffer, however is there a better solution? Thanks

  • Java ME libraries

    - by Casebash
Java ME is quite sparse on features. Are there any libraries you use to add missing features? I don't want to focus on UI libraries - these are better discussed here.

    - by Nimbuz
Are there any good (preferably PHP) open source scripts that I use to measure download/upload speeds? Something like speedtest.net but without Flash. Basically, I want to put up a 'broadband speed test' website. I found this but is there anything better already available? Thanks!

  • What is the best way to observe the scroll over an element with overflow set?

    - by Phunky
It's simple to observe the documents scroll event but I can't seem to find anything relating to the scroll of any other element with css property overflow being set? To get around this myself i've been observing mousemove which only fires while you hold down on the scrollbar but this would need to be teamed with a mouse wheel observe also to get the full effect. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a better way of implementing this?

  • Sending multiple checkbox options

    - by Grunje_D_D
Hi, I'm creating a used cars website (written in PHP), and I'm stuck on sending advanced search options from form. I have more than 30 of them and I wonder if it's possible, and how, to send them in one variable (for example &options=1,2,3,5,6,10 or some other way..). Also I've heard that this is possible with "bitwise" but I don't have a clue how to do that. Or if someone have a better idea, please let me know. Thanx

  • Database Design Question

    - by Soo
Ok SO, I have a user table and want to define groups of users together. The best solution I have for this is to create three database tables as follows: UserTable user_id user_name UserGroupLink group_id member_id GroupInfo group_id group_name This method keeps the member and group information separate. This is just my way of thinking. Is there a better way to do this? Also, what is a good naming convention for tables that link two other tables?
