  • Integrate existing Spring based web application with a CMS

    We have stable spring based (spring 2.x) web application. We have a new requirement which is our data entry operators should be able to login to some kind of an admin module and simply change the text in the web pages, change the color etc. I have seen PHP based CMS’s that allows authorized user to change the content in WYSIWYG manner. If anyone of you knows such open source Java CMS or third party application, which can facilitate such thing, please let me know. Please note: we cannot write our application from scratch. We are looking for pluggable component.

I understand higher level languages have magic functions like "download_file_from_url()" but they don't help me understand what is actually going on.     Hi All, I have created a site in asp.net 3.5 & my query is this that I have only 2 or 3 login Id (user) who can login to my website, then what would be the better way to save the login details. What I know I am writing below, please let me know which would be the correct approach to achieve this also if their is any nice approach to get this done: 1: to save username and password in web.config file 2: to create a text file in directory and modify it 3: To use form authentication Please let me know the approach I can use to solve it. thanks in advance P.S. : I have to create only 2-3 users, or in future may be 1-2 more, that's it.

  • [deb-5.0] Setup DNS on my server so I can put my IPs in as nameservers of my domain provider

    Basically, my unmanaged VPS provider doesn't supply me with nameserver which I can use with my domain provider to route domain to my server. As I've been told: You need to configure the custom DNS server in your VPS, to setup the custom nameservers. Please refer the following article that would help: http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/wiki/index.php/Quick_HOWTO_:_Ch18_:_Configuring_DNS Once you configure the nameserver records, please update the domain registrar panel with the custom nameserver details. I tried to follow this guide but it seems to be a bit outdated, and I am complete newb with non-windows systems. I also scanned the google for other articles which could help me with this problem but, alas, nothing I found was of any value for someone who doesn't know this stuff better than his own pockets. I realize this is quite a complex thing to do, but maybe there is some way to automate it? Or a better solution, like a paid service which would act as my nameservers (this one would be interesting), or even hoped to find some company which "rents" people to do stuff like that. Blah, any help will be appreciated, I am at a complete loss here. I can follow some of these steps, but then I soon find that half of the files which are mentioned in the article are somehow not existing anywhere on the server which confuses me, and once we get to the point of creating Zone I can't really decipher all the things written there :/. As per title, my system is Debian 5.0.

    I have a problem to ask you. I have a table in Ms.Access that contain: (FoodID, FoodName, Price) and in C# I have three text boxes (txtId, txtName, txtPrice) and a button (btnSearch). My question is that, In C# I just type FoodID in (txtId) and then click on button Search It'll display FoodName and Price ( from table access) in txtName and txtPrice by itself. When I try to submit my iphone app with xcode, I've got error as follows; Code Sign error: The identity 'iPhone Distribution' doesn't match any valid, non-expired certificate/private key pair in the default keychain After searching, I found out that I have to create a Distribution Provisioning Profile. However, my distribution provisioning profile doesn't work, even though my Development Provisioning Profile works perfectly. Could someone please help me with this problem? I'm stuck all day... and please forgive me that my English is not great. Thank you in advance.

When i try to open any open it is showing the error as: "Could not find type 'LibrarySystem.ctrlSeparator'. Please make sure that the assembly that contains this type is referenced. If this type is a part of your development project, make sure that the project has been successfully built. " Also "The variable 'ctrlSeparator1' is either undeclared or was never assigned.   • copy an identity column into another table

    I have 2 tables that are related,both have identity columns for primary keys and i am using a vb form to insert data into them,My problem is that i cannot get the child table to get the primary key of the parent table and use this as its foreign key in my database. the data is inserted fine though no foreign key constraint is made.I am wondering if a trigger will do it and if so how. All my inserting of data is done in vb. The user wont insert any keys. all these are identity columns that are auto generated. If a trigger is my way out please illustrate with an example. If there is another way i can do this in VB itself then please advise and an example will be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

But When I select the radio button and submit the form Then also it is giving me the alert message 'Please select something!'
