• Is there a website to lookup barcodes?

  Hi I know there's a http://www.upcdatabase.com/ website that allows you to lookup barcodes. This website however does not return anything for thousands of normal household items. I have seen free apps on mobile phones that can do this and list the exact product name along with price comparison. Does anyone know of good websites (even commercial ones) that have a good/reliable database that one could use for lookups?

• IE doesnot clear Flash Object from memory

  Hi, I have dynamically added a Flex Object in a HTML page through JavaScript. The Flex object is located in a "div" tag. Now when I call the "removeChild" JavScript function to remove the dynamically added "Object" tag, the object tag gets removed succesfully; however the memory that has increased due to the loading of the Flex Object is never recollected by IE. Even if I refresh the browser the memory is still not cleared. How do I recollect the memory that was allocayed to my Flex Object?

  My calendar works properly on servers in PST but on the production server (EST) all events seem to end one day early. I am not sure if it is a timezone problem because even with the 3 hour difference the events should be display on the proper date. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

• Cufon font replacement issue

  I copied the working files from a demo url to the live site and cufon refuses to work after modifying everything I can think of. I even regenerated the font thinking I may have accidentally specified a domain for restricting the use. The trouble url is sterlingross.com and I am unable to see where I have gone wrong. • Symfony "cannot fetch TableMap" error when using propel:build-all

  Cannot fetch TableMap for undefined table: order_product. Make sure you have the static MapBuilder registration code after your peer stub class definition. Even if I erase the entire schema, clear the cache, and delete everything but "vendor" in the lib folder, I still get the error. I also get the error when doing propel:build-filters or propel:build-forms. Thanks for your help in advance!

• Verilog code simulates but does not run as predicted on FPGA

  Hi guys, I'm developing an Windows Mobile 6.5 start menu replacement called JWMD Stuick. Currently, I'm able to detect if the Start Menu is created or destroyed by checking GetWindowLong() API.. Though this does not guarantee if Start Menu is visible or not because other cooked ROM was even if the Start Menu is closed or an app was executed from Start Menu -- the Start Menu GWL still has value. Do guys have better ways or ideas how to check if Start Menu is Visible? Thanks.

  When I create a PDF from a Jasper Report, the resulting PDF declare to use "Helvetica" font, even if it doesn't contain text. Unfortunately I cannot embed "Helvetica" font, because it is not among the Windows fonts. Based on the PDF/A rules, I need to embed all the fonts in the PDF file. • How to get Visual Studio to step into third party assemblies

  When I'm debugging or even coding, it would be really uesful to examine third party assemblies but I can only see their metadata. Given that tools like reflector can decompile assemblies, is there someway or some tool which would allow visual studio to do the same thing? If I happen to have access to the PDB files for an assemblies, would placing them into my applications bin folder allow me to examine the assemblies content through visual studio?
