• Can I disable the cursor change to hour glass when invoke TTaskDialog.Execute?

  Hi, I am using Dialog 2010 and Windows 7. When I invoke TTaskDialog.Execute method, there is a short flash of screen cursor change to hour glass. Is there any way to get rid of it? As it doesn't have much meaning for a simple task dialog but causing some delay to wait for the dialog prompt out.

  Hi, I have to manage XML documents and Strings in my app. In terms of efficiency and memory usage, will a collection like ArrayList be much more expensive than String[]? Also, I could store the content as a regular String or XML. Is working with XML also more expensive? (When I say expensive, I am referring to the use of system resources.)   Hi, I am using AJAX to dynamically update a page with a data table. When the table is successfully added to the page it contains some code reference to produce colorbox overlay pop ups. However, after the table has been pulled into the page these overlays no longer function. Any ideas? I assume they need to be re-initialised or something?

In simple words, I want to take hi-resolution coastline data and be able to reduce its LOD hundred- or thousandfold to render it in small-scale. I found polygon reduction algorithms (but they require triangles) and Laplacian smoothing, but that doesn't seem exactly what I need.

I've experienced outofmemory from my application : Current setting is : -Xmx900m Computer, Windows 2003 Server 32bit, RAM 4GB. Also is changing boot.ini to /3GB on windows, will make any difference? If is set Xmx900m, how much max native memory can be allocated for this process ? is it 1100m ?
