• AS3 - Searching An Array for the items that contains a particular word when each item is a paragraph

  Hi, bit new to AS3 so forgive me if this is a bit of a straight forward question. Ive created an array, and each item in the array is a description of something, about 20 words long, I want to search the array, and return each item that contains a particular word. All the other tutorials Ive found are based on looping through to search for an exact match. Thanks!

• How to view TV Tuner component input with OpenCV?

  Hi Everyone, I'm trying to use my tvtuner instead of a webcam with opencv. The problem is that by default cvCaptureFromCAM(0) gives me the tv channel of the tv tuner, but what I actually want the input from my the RCA input of the tv tuner. I have tried usingcvCaptureFromCAM(-1) to check if there are additional camera devices found within the tvtuner, but it only gives me the general tvtuner as an option. Is there a way to change the channel of the input?

• Jquery add elipse (...) and truncate text based on height not width.

  I have found many ways to measure width and to truncate text using jquery, but I can't find one based on height. I am limited to two lines of text or it will knock my design out of canter. So does anyone know a method of limiting a paragraph to two lines high, tuncating it and adding an elipse ?

  This sample code compares serial method with threaded method, on Quad core processor. The code just reads 4 images from the resources. I found that the speed up is around 65%, why it does not equal 75% as I have 4 cores and all of them are fully utilized?

• Unloading vertex buffers in OpenGL

  I have an Android live wallpaper that I suspect is leaking memory, probably either textures or vertex arrays. I'm calling glDeleteTextures on my texture IDs, but don't see any sort of equivalent for my vertex buffers. I'd like to be able to be sure both my textures and buffers are getting unloaded by OpenGL, am i missing something? The documents I've found seem to suggest OpenGL just works it out on its own, but that's not giving me a lot of comfort.

  Hello, I'm using outlook 2007. Two days ago, we've enabled auto-archiving, maybe that't the source of our problems, but I still have to investigate. At any rate, auto completion of email addresses in the to/cc/bcc fields has become a stopper, taking up to a minute to do something. • Problem Upgrading NHibernate SQLite Application to .Net 4.0

  I have a WPF Application using Fluent NHibernate 1.0 RTM and System.Data.SQLite 1.0.65 that works fine in .Net 3.5. When I try to upgrade it to .Net 4.0 everything compiles but I get a runtime error where the innermost exception is this: `The IDbCommand and IDbConnection implementation in the assembly System.Data.SQLite could not be found.` The only change made to the project was switching the Target Framework to 4.0.

  I just started using bundler for gem packaging in vendor/. The problem is with certain gems (like rspec and cucumber) that have binaries. The binary path that is under my_app/vendor/gems/ruby/1.8/...cucumber-0.6.2/bin/ is not in my path, therefore when I go to run cucumber i get command cannot be found. What is the easiest way to execute the bundled gem binaries from within the app rather than adding a large number of folders to my path? Thanks
