    Hey, I'am trying to follow an ASP.NET with AJAX Training. At certain moment, they deploy an AJAX-Enabled Web Site. but for me I can't found this option (I'm using Visual Studio 2008). Even if I installed the Ajax Control Toolkit it still not working for me !! What must I do to find this ?

  • Datamapper, defining your own object methods, how?

    So lets say I have a class like below class List include DataMapper::Resource property :id, Serial property :username, String def self.my_username return self[:username] end end list=List.create(:username=>,'jim') list.my_username When I run this it tells me that the method cannot be found, and on more investigation that you can only define class methods(not object methods) and that class methods don't have access to objects data. Is there any way to have these methods included as object methods and get access to object data? I'm using Ruby 1.8.6 and the latest version of datamapper.

  • Get compiler generated delegate for an event

    I need to know what handlers are subsribed to the CollectionChanged event of the ObservableCollection class. The only solution I found would be to use Delegate.GetInvocationList() on the delegate of the event. The problem is, I can't get Reflection to find the compiler generated delegate. AFAIK the delegate has the same name as the event. I used the following piece of code: PropertyInfo notifyCollectionChangedDelegate = collection.GetType().GetProperty("CollectionChanged", BindingFlags.Instance | BindingFlags.Static | BindingFlags.NonPublic | BindingFlags.FlattenHierarchy);

    Hi I'm looking for a slide effect for a navigation. But in my opinion the slide effect of jQuery is a little strange, or doesn't really fit my needs. The list items kind of appear but aren't animated (the container is only animated) when I apply the slideDown,slideUp,toggleSlide effect. I would like to have the list items animated as well.     I'm sitting down to write a massive switch() statement to turn SQL datatypes into CLR datatypes in order to generate classes from MSSQL stored procedures. I'm using this chart as a reference. Before I get too far into what will probably take all day and be a huge pain to fully test, I'd like to call out to the SO community to see if anyone else has already written or found something in C# to accomplish this seemingly common and assuredly tedious task.

ON uploading to the actual host i notice that The server is running php 4.4.9 Everytime i upload my .htaccess file, the server removes it completely.. seems to not be allowed When i test out the set all i get is a 404 page not found Any help on how to make it work on this PHP 4 server?

  • Unable to checkout log4j repository

    I'm using tortoiseSVN to checkout the log4j v1.2 source from - http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/trunk But i keep getting this error: Error: OPTIONS of '': Could not Error: resolve hostname `svn.apache.org': No such host is known. The funny thing is that i can access 'svn.apache.org' from my browser but if i try to ping it from the command prompt, it says host not found. Does any body else face this problem? Is there any other way to get the source for log4j v1.2?
