    I have the following code: NSMutableDictionary *jsonObj = [parser objectWithString:json_string error:nil]; NSString *test = [[[jsonObj objectForKey:@"questions"] valueForKey:@"owner"] valueForKey:key]; but what I get back is: ( 1a19f089a2bc4ee42bff1c102c6e89b8 ) The actual value is fine, but I get those parenthesis, which show up in my string. How can I get rid of them?

    I have a ByteBuffer containing bytes that were derived by String.getBytes(charsetName), where "containing" means that the string comprises the entire sequence of bytes between the ByteBuffer's position() and limit(). What's the best way for me to get the string back?   • How to undelete from the SVN Repository

    I accidentally deleted a major folder inside of the Tortoise-SVN Repro Browser. The working folder is unaffected. What is the recommended way to reverse that? Do I just Revert back to the previous version? Or do I need to do a Checkout to that previous version into a new folder and delete the old folder?

  • Android - How to prevent the phone screen from turning on when volume or camera key is pressed?

    I have an activity that shows up when the phone screen goes to sleep/turns off ie turns black. For some reason, the phone turns on when the volume buttons or the camera buttons are pressed. By turns on, I mean the screen wakes up or comes back from the black screen state. I've tried using dispatchKeyEvent(KeyEvent event) and the buttons are disabled on the activity, but they still wake up the phone.

    I've just started to work with DoubleClick Studio. I've successfully created a Flash expanding ad with CS4 that is mostly scripted and uses the Document class option. Now for some reason the back end of DoubleClick Studio thinks I've imported the Enabler component twice. I've checked my files numerous of times but can't find the root cause. Any help is much appreciated :)

    Is there a way to keep the order when using SELECT WHERE IN()? For example, using the following query: SELECT id FROM data_table WHERE id IN(56,55,54,1,7); The results will come back using the default order by id. 1,7,54,55,56 When I want to keep the order used in the IN: 56,55,54,1,7 Is there a quick way to do this in mySQL or will I be forced to order it after in code.   • GreaseMonkey + Ajax + Remember page?

    I load jquery into my greasemonkey script and when the user clicks the start button the script makes a bunch of ajax calls. I then empty body and append data. When i click on something and hit back instead of getting the page post script i lose all the data and need to run the ajax calls again (it can take seconds to run). How do i make it not lose the changes?

Current my controller method has a void return type, but this sends back a response to the client as 200 OK with a Content-Length header set to 0. How can I make the response into a 204? In order to make function calls to our back-end php code we've implemented something called an ActionProxy like this: function ActionProxy(action, input, callback){ $.post("ActionProxy.php?method="+action, { data: input}, function(data, textStatus, XMLHttpRequest){ //return data.ResponseWhatever } }); The problem we're having is that using data outside the ActionProxy is impossible due to variable scope limitations (we assume), setting var res = data.ResponseWhatever or return data.ResponseWhatever is pretty futile. How would one handle these responses most appropriately so that functions calling the actionproxy can access the response values?
