After a bunch of animating, adding classes and setting css styles. is there an easy way to reset an element to be back in its original server delivered state?
I'm only supporting the portrait orientation, but both the right-side-up and upside-down versions. Why do my subviews not resize appropriately? There's a status bar sized black space at the top of the view. If I change tabs and come back, it's corrected.
Hi
just looking for abit of guidance here if possible.
I recently downloaded a .net component for VS 2008 to handle sftp.
After struggling with it for a day i uninstalled and deleted it.
When going back into VS 2008, any of my previous projects have this error
at the bottom in the error window:
failed to create app domain.
I was going to do a re-install, but is there anything I can try before I resort to this?
thanks again
DD
I'm looking for a QR-Code library for C/C++, not Java or .Net please. Anyone knows of one?
Note: There was a similar question a while back however but it didn't get
answered properly.
Not sure if this is possible..basically a server forwards/bridges an incoming connection
Client - Server - Destination
Now, rather than a normal proxy script on the server(or a simple redirect),
1) the Destination sees the incoming connection as from the CLIENT (not from the SERVER).. aka masking the server
2) the Server in the middle streams the data back to the client(without downloading it first, then passing it)
Anyone know how to do this or something like it in PHP ?
I am trying to get Opera to re-request a page every time instead of just serving it from the cache. I'm sending the 'Cache-control=no-cache' and 'Pragma: no-cache' response headers but it seems as if Opera is just ignoring these headers. It works fine in other browsers - Chrome, IE, Firefox.
How do I stop Opera from caching pages? What I want to be able to do is have Opera re-request a page when the user clicks the Back button on the browser.
I'm writing a websercive in C# that will generate pdf-files and send back to the caller as a byte[]. The pdf file is generated using a third party component, but I'm struggling with the conversion. The pdf is just an in-memory object in the web service, and I can't find any good way of converting the generated pdf to a byte[] before returning it to the caller. Any advice on this?
I want to pass/bind an array of (key1, key2) to an Oracle PL/SQL stored procedure using PHP. I'm able to bind primitive types and arrays of primitive types, but haven't found a way to pass complex datatypes back and forth.
Is this unsupported? So far I've been having to pass along multiple arrays -- one for each subtype in my complex type -- and then depend on their indexes to reconstitute them in the procedure.
I am trying to host some files/rails app in the port 8080 for external access. For python I am using the SimpleHTTPServer module, and for rails, webrick. However, both of them does not work very well. I don't get the response back, and, sometimes, if I get it, it's VERY slow. Nevertheless, apache works very well on the port 8080 (i am not running them at the same time). What is going on?
I am not familiar with the wordpress schema at all and I need to get back a list, or array of the most recent tags from any post in the wordpress database.
I just need the data available on the home page so I can then manipulate it.
All the functions seem to be designed to work on a per-post basis.
(Wordpress really makes me feel sorry for frequent wordpress programmers.)
Many times when I lose connection to my development server, I just log back in and have a .swp file to deal with when I re-open. Does vim have a mod to allow deleting by initial prompt?
Thanks
I have a program that I'm working on that register global hotkeys
I would like to use that ability to trigger highlighted text or data to be copied to the clipboard and then read from the clipboard into a variable in my program
which i will later use in reverse to paste it back out.
(example ctrl+1 copys to quque #1 and alt+1 pasts what is in quque 1)
thanks so much.
I have a Cocoa application which uses an installer. I want to be able to run code coverage over the code (after it has been installed).
This is not the usual unit-test scenario where a single binary will run a suite of tests. Rather, the tests in question will interact with the UI and the app back-end whilst it is running, so I ideally want to be able to start the application knowing that Gcov is profiling it and then run tests against it.
Any ideas?
If I have a textbox in my view:
<div><%= Html.TextBox("Comments", Model.Comments)%></div>
I want to post the contents of this textbox to the controller with an Ajax call. I only need this one value though, so I don't want to post the whole form back.
<%= Ajax.ActionLink("update", "UpdateComments",
new { comments = /* ????? */ },
new AjaxOptions { HttpMethod="POST" })%>
How do I get the textbox value?
What are your best practices for making sure newly hired developers quickly get up to speed with the code? And ensuring developers moving on don't set back ongoing releases.
Some ideas to get started:
Documentation
Use well established frameworks
Training / encourage mentoring
Notice period in contract
consider a tale is as follows,
EmployeeId | Name | Phone_Number
Now, i insert 10 records... When i query them back, select * from myTable they are not selected in the order i inserted. I can obviously keep an autoincrement index and ORDER BY index. But i dont want to alter the table. How can i do this without altering the table?
I've just installed Intellitrace, and it seems that it only collects data from previous points during debugging, and I haven't found a way to get the debugger to step back to previous execution points using intellitrace.
Is this possible?
i am doing a jquery back end search of data from a DB table..until i fetch the data from the table...how do i show am image like every where its shown like searching or something like tht
I have very little programming knowledge; only a fair bit in Visual Basic.
How do I take a value from a text field, then do some simple math such as divide the value by two, then display it back to the user in the same field?
In Visual Basic you could just do txtBoxOne.text = txtBoxOne.text / 2
I understand this question is more than one question and is very basic stuff, but I need to get my head out of Visual Basic and into where I should be :)
I need to send a request using GET/POST method to a server and check its response back.I need some code in C/C++ to check whether my request is correct or not.
I have a text field that I'd like to support an arbitrary amount of text in. Right now the text is sent through an XML object request using GET. I'd like to use POST to send the data back to the server. Are there any good options in ActionScript 1?
The site I work with on a day-to-day basis has its share of shortcomings and we often make design decisions to "get us by right now" with the intention of fixing those up later.
I've found that making the time to actually go back and fix them, let alone remembering what the full list of to-do items is can be challenging at best.
Can you recommend any tools, resources or tricks that help you effectively manage your technical debt?
When a branch is reintegrated to the trunk, is that branch effectively dead? Can you make modifications to the branch after the reintegration and merge those back into the trunk at a later date?
