    Hey guys, Using jQuery, the following is not working in FF, but it is in IE $(this).focus().select(); I looked around for this and found that you could use a timeout to get around this, but that is not something I want to do if I can avoid it.   • C++ memcpy problem :(

    Hey all :) I have a problem my src pointer of memcpy is pointing wrong. unsigned char* lpBuffer is a buffer that contains my bytes, i checked with olly. The code: IMAGE_DOS_HEADER iDOSh; memcpy(&iDOSh,lpBuffer,sizeof(iDOSh)); The problem is that lpBuffer points wrong, output from debugger is dest = 002859E8 RIGHT src = 000001D8 FALSE src is pointing invalid :( i have no idea why Thanks for reading

    Hey, Currently i try to create some of my database export work more automated and i decided to go with exporting data from MySql database to .doc file in php. So im doing some database work and store complete html to a $str variable and then write/make new file: $fp = fopen($file, 'w+'); fwrite($fp,$str); fclose($fp); The problem here is not creating .doc file, but when i download and view that .doc file it's not in UTF-8 it's in unicode.

    Hey people I've got an issue with a WPF project I'm working on, I have an items control which I add to and remove from certain user controls, these contols styles and attached properties are there on first view but when I remove and add them again the user control apears on screen but is detached from the items control attached properties and styles.     Hey, I would like to know how you can disable UIAlerts, specifically the Alerts being displayed after tapping and holding hyperlinks in a UIWebView. These seem to be enabled by default in UIWebViews containing the link address of the respective link in the title of the alert. They are also enabled in Safari. (How) is it possible to disable all alerts of this kind within a UIWebView? Thanks in advance!

    Hey there I'm working on a browser-game and I can't help but wonder about what's the lightest way to make the grid/board on which the game takes place. Right now, as a mere sample, I'll show you this: http://sotkra.com/game/ Now, as the grid gets bigger and bigger, the table and its td's create a very heavy filepage which in turn...sucks in more resources from the browser engine and computer.     Hey, I have some code which queries a web server using HTTP GET URLConnection connection = new URL("www.example.com" + "?blah=ok").openConnection(); connection.setRequestProperty("Accept-Charset", "UTF-8"); InputStream http_response = connection.getInputStream(); Now when I run this code while connected to WiFi I get the expected response but when I run this with WiFi disabled I instead seem to get the response of www.example.com without the appended query. Does anyone know why this is happening?
