  • Why is my keyboard messed up in Eclipse?

    Hi there: I am trying to type in a pair of angle brackets in Eclipse, like "<". However it shows up as a single quotation and a dot, like "'.". I tried a couple of times and found out that the angle bracket is actually located at back-slash's position. Why is this happening? How can I change it back? Thanks in advance. Xi

    Hi. i'm running the following: png(filename="figure.png", width=900, bg="white") barplot(c(1.1, 0.8, 0.7), horiz=TRUE, border="blue", axes=FALSE, col="darkblue") axis(2, at=1:3, lab=c("elephant", "hippo", "snorkel"), las=1, cex.axis=1.3) dev.off() and the labels on the left are appearing off the page. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks.

To set simple html contents within web view I used this code and it is working fine: [[myWebView mainFrame] loadHTMLString:webViewContents baseURL:baseURLFramed]; but I am not getting any clue on resizing web view according to its content. Should I first encode the XML data into BASE64 first prior saving it to an JSON object, due to the fact that JSON does not support binary data? DateTime.Parse("08:15") it works but it outputs todays date. I want to get date of day name. I also usedDateTime.Parse("08:15").AddDays(1)it gaves me next days date.Here I want to get date of next Monday with and "08:15" time.

    Hi, I've been getting my hands wet with emacs lisp, and one thing that trips me up sometimes is the dynamic scope. Is there much of a future for it? Most languages I know use static scoping (or have moved to static scoping, like Python), and probably because I know it better I tend to prefer it. Are there specific applications/instances or examples where dynamic scope is more useful?

    Hi All, I have an existing webapp and i'm attempting to setup BlogEngine .Net to share the membership tables Everything seems to work.. accept i can see that the Membership.ValidateUser call in blogengine returns false! While the other apps returns true. I'm at a loss.. Membership.GetUser called from both apps returns the correct user.. Any ideas? thanks!

    Hi everyone, I have changed the Configure::write('Security.salt', '############'); value in the file config/core.php file to a '256-bit hex key'. Is it safe or a good practice to change these lines for every different installation of cakephp application or shall I revert back to the original ? I also changed the Configure::write('Security.cipherSeed','7927237598237592759727'); to a different one of more length. Please throw some light on this. Thanks
