  • Changing a formwindows backcolor from a panel

    I have a panel that is docked to the right side of a windows form. I set a color with a setting on the panel but I want to then update the main form (not the panel) backcolor to the new setting. But when I use me.backcolor = setting it changes the panels backcolor. This is also with VB.net windows forms with Visual Studios 2008 Thanks

    I have a subjects database, and I want to create a new tag database to tag the subjects, but I have no idea how to design the new tag database structure. I'm assuming the new database looks like this: tag_id tag_name tagged_subject_ids 1 tag1 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 2 tag2 2, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12 so, if I want to select the tags belong to subject 1: SELECT tag_name FROM tag_database WHERE tagged_subject_ids LIKE '1'; I think the way that I select tag may be very slow, so please help me.     I'm working on a website where a logged-in admin needs the ability to upload and manage multiple PDFs from their computer. They'd need to be able to upload/remove the files. Also, there would need to be a way that they can sort the list of uploaded files and save that order so that other visitors to the page would see the list of files in that particular order.     our application is deployed on jboos As 4.0x, we face some issues in jboss logging.. whenever the server is restarted, jboss stops logging , and there is no update in server.log. After that it is not updating the log file. then we do touch cmd on log4j.xml, so that it creates the log files again.     Hello, I'm using outlook 2007. Two days ago, we've enabled auto-archiving, maybe that't the source of our problems, but I still have to investigate. At any rate, auto completion of email addresses in the to/cc/bcc fields has become a stopper, taking up to a minute to do something. These line segments would be determined from an algorithm that would detected and save each segments endpoints.
