• CustomValidator, pagemethods and JQuery what fun

  Hey all, I have a CustomValidator, RequiredFieldValidator and ValidationSummary controls on an aspx page to check the current password and make sure the new password is not blank. When I click submit I get the js alert() box from the summary control telling me about just the RequiredFieldValidator being false, but the client script for the CustomValidator does not seem to get its return value used. I have checked the "arguments.IsValid" value using FireBug, so it is getting called and returning the correct bool, but it never shows up in the val summary box? Thanks, Goosey

  I need to set a PHP $_SESSION variable using the jQuery. IF the user clicks on an image I want to save a piece of information associated with that image as a session variable in php.   Hi, I'm still not clear on how and when to use interface builder. I have a tabbar-based application, in which I added 6 navigations controllers. Instead of having 6 tabs, I would like 3 plus a "More" tab which allows the user to configure the tabs he wants. Is there any way to do that with IB ? And if not, how can I move from IB to a code-based tabbar (provided I already set up a class TabBarController which handles shouldAutoRotate:) Thanks in advance !

  Hi all I have to transition the CornerRadius property of a Border from value "0,0,0,0" to value "0,0,10,10" via an animation. This must be done directly in the XAML file w/o using code behind other than a ValueConverter or similar. I think CornerRadius is animatable using an ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames - but how to animate just two of the four values of the CornerRadius structure ? Thanks in advance !

  Hi there, I have posted two problems with a custom itemRenderer see this post. My primary Problem is, that it always selects a wrong line (one under the one I select). I now realized that this happens, when I save back the content of the itemRenderer to the dataProvider. If I code this part out, the dataGrid works as expected... • How can I fill a rect with an alpha color using CoreGraphics?

  In my drawRect method, I am drawing a PNG image. On top of that, I want to draw a rect with a 20% alpha color, like this: [[UIColor colorWithWhite:0.0 alpha:0.2] set]; UIRectFill(rect); The problem is, that the alpha property seems to get ignored. No alpha is applied at all, just a black rectangle is drawn. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

  I have a UITableview made up with a custom cell loaded from a nib. This custom cell has 9 UILabel s and thats all. When scrolling the table on my iPhone the tables scrolling motion is slightly jerky, its not as smooth as other tableviews!   Hi, We've got a .NET client calling a Java WebService hosted on Glassfish. Sometimes, for no clear reason, we get the error stated above. It appears that the first letter of the method ("P" of "POST") is dropped somehow. This is not consistent though, so we have no idea how to reproduce it. The communication is done over SSL.
