http://code.google.com/p/warp-persist/

I'd like to have a version control server (preferably SVN) accessible on the internet without having to host my own (linux) server. Setting up a home server ala DynDNS is not really an option.
Can you have non-public (maybe single-user) projects on one of the OSS project hosting sites? Or are there alternatives?
I had a look at Google Code. But that looked very public to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
If I have a recorded audio file (MP3), is there any way to get the figure out the DTMF tones that were recorded in pure Python?
(If pure python is not available, then Java is okay too. The point being that it should be able to run in Google Appengine)
My google fu is weak today, but I cannot find a good article to do so. I would like to extend the Zend Adapter to check n extra columns on my database table. What is the best way to fully extend the adapter, so I can use it in the future without needing to dig through documentation again.

I am needing to create a web service, so the first thing I did of course was go to google
If you look in those results, you'll see nothing but things about ASMX, which apparently is dubbed legacy technology to be replaced by WCF. Why is it that ASMX is still so vastly popular compared to WCF? (of course, on SO WCF is way more popular.. hmmm)
In my opinion:

Hi All,
When designing a web application/web site, is there an accepted practice on when to open a link on a new window?
Currently, if the site being linked to is outside the domain (say Google.com), I am always launching it on a new window. If the page being linked is within the same domain, I open it on the current active window.
I've read somewhere the opening links on a new window explicitly is being frowned upon.
Thanks!
Similiar to this question, I am wondering if experienced Javascript developers have any websites they use with examples to get the basics of Javascript down in 24/28 hours? I have looked at Douglas Crockford's Google Tech Talk and I bought the book "Javascript: the good parts" but I haven't had time to read it.
I'm sort of new to Perl and I'm wondering if there a prefered unit testing framework?
Google is showing me some nice results, but since I'm new to this, I don't know if there is a clear preference within the community.
I currently have NetBeans 6.5 installed on my mac running leopard.
I searched Google on how to uninstall it and the NetBeans website says to right click on it, select "Show Package Contents" and the uninstaller should be there, but it isn't.
How can I completely uninstall NetBeans in this situation?
Thanks!
I've got some code which works fine in IE but unfortunately not in Google Chrome/Firefox.
It relies upon calling a click() event on a button from javascript. Reading around it seems that this is an IE specific extension (doh). Is there any way I can do a similar thing in chrome + firefox?
Thanks
When I compile a c++ application I'm writing that makes use of hash_map, I get this warning on g++ 4.3.2:
You are using the deprecated header . To eliminate this warning, use an ANSI-standard header file or use hte -Wno-deprecated compiler flag.
9> #include <ext/hash_map>
What include replaces this? I've searched for a while on google, and can't find anything except for people having similar problems, but no solution.
I am converting some old C# code, and it has a CountDownLatch using a package called Spring.Threading.Helpers. The odd thing is that I can't find this package on Google - so a) is it still supported? And, if so, where is it documented? b) What I really want to do is wait for a count to get to zero, but interrupt every so many msecs. Would it just be simpler to set up another thread, and do WaitOnes on an Event specifying an interval? TIA
Hello:
Can I do the following with SharePoint 2007:
1) Create lists (records) and document libraries with content that is in force for a certain amount of days and after that, they automatically expire? How?
2) When searching for words in a SharePoint site where there are lists and documents, SharePoint displays results similar to Google, would it be possible that Sharepoint tell me what documents are no longer current? How?
Thank you very much.
I have been trying to open a hidden default browser from delphi but coulnd't.
I tried
ShellExecute(self.WindowHandle,'open','www.google.com',nil,nil, SW_HIDE);
and I get my chrome browser open but not hidden, and it opens a tab not a new window, also tried with TStartupInfo with the same results. Is there another way to achieve this?

Sometimes I'd like to take a peek into the implementation of the JRE classes, which is used to generate the JavaScript code.
For some classes, I can find a corresponding implementation by guessing its name, e.g. com.google.gwt.core.client.impl.StringBuilderImpl. But where's the implementation for java.util.Date for example? Where do I find it, and how does GWT find it (via some configuration file?)
Hello
I have a loop created with each, check this example:
$('.foo').each(function(i){
//do stuff
});
Is there any possibility to run a functions when this loop has ended? Couldn't find it on docs or Google.
I can make it work without this kind of solution, but it's always good to search for and use the simpliest methods.
