  Hi, I'm looking at market stats here for sdk distribution: http://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html saying that 31% of marketplace users are still running 1.5. Is it true that an OS update went out for G1 and myTouch users? I'm wondering why so many people are still running 1.5 if so? Just curious because I'd like to use th setView() method introduced in 1.6 for TabSpec, but not if so many people are still using 1.5, I might have to roll my own control, Thanks

  Hi, I am using Visual C++, and I am trying to include a file that uses BYTE (as well as DOUBLE, LPCONTEXT...) , which by default is not a defined type. If I include windows.h, it works fine, but windows.h also defines GetClassName wich I don't need. I am looking for an alternative to windows.h include, that would work with VC++ and would define most of the types like BYTE, DOUBLE ... Thanks

  I converted all mysql tables to utf-8_unicode and started using mysql_set_charset('utf8'); function. But after this, some characters like S, Ö started looking like Ö , Åž How can i replace this kinda letters in mysql with UTF-8 format ? shortly, can i find a list of all these kinda characters to replace ?   Why this isn't allowed: int a = 0; int a = 0; but this is: for (int i = 0; i < 2; ++i) { int a = 0; } As far as I know code inside for loop will be executed twice whitout actually going out of its scope, so it should also be an error to define a twice. Looking forward to your answers Thanks.

  This is my code for downloading html to parse: HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)req.GetResponse(); var obj = response.GetResponseStream(); StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(obj); tmp = reader.ReadToEnd(); (tmp is a string) and when writing it to a text file to look through, I'm noticing that responseStream is stripping out the very text that I'm actually looking to parse. Is there any other way to download raw HTML for future parsing or am I simply out of luck?

• troubleshooting steps for site that requires refresh to load

  How does one troubleshoot a site that loads sometimes, but then requires a reload at other times... sometimes it loads, sometimes it hangs and a refresh is required, sometimes more than once.
