  • Why isn't JML implemented as Annotations in Java?

    Contrary to Code Contracts in C#, in JML Code Contracts are just text that's used in the form of comments in the header of a method. Wouldn't it be better to have them exposed as Annotations, then? That way even when compiling the information would persist on the .class's metadata, contrary to comments, that get erased. Am I missing something? Thanks

    Is anyone having experience working with pycassa I have a doubt with it. How do I get all the keys that are stored in the database? well in this small snippet we need to give the keys in order to get the associated columns (here the keys are 'foo' and 'bar'),that is fine but my requirement is to get all the keys (only keys) at once as Python list or similar data structure. cf.multiget(['foo', 'bar']) {'foo': {'column1': 'val2'}, 'bar': {'column1': 'val3', 'column2': 'val4'}} Thanks.

    I need to pass a single variable in a querystring from one application (in PHP) to another (in ASP.NET). It's a one way transfer...That is I need to encrypt it in PHP and decrypt it in ASP.NET (c#). I'm barely a newbie on PHP and I'd like not to have to do more than add a tag to the page that needs to do the passing. The data will be anywhere from 5 - 15 characters..only letters and numbers.   • Need to find latitude and longitude of postcodes and store into my database

    Hey guys, Ive got a database full of UK Postcodes, now i'd like to be able to store the latitude and longitude of these specific postcodes along with the record with the database. Is there anyway that i can obtain this data free without violating any T&C's? I know i could do this using google maps api for each postcode, but i have way over 20,000 postcodes in this database and to get the lat and lng for each of these postcodes each time is not an option really.   • Switching between landscape views

    What is the best way to switch between views that are both in Landscape mode? I've tried with a simple "Push and Pop" methods that work fine when I try them with Portrait views but when I do it with Landscape for some reason it does the switching like the method was supposed to work just for Portrait views and a the end of the switch it autorotates back to Landscape.... if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.     I've a table with working_hours time(0), lunch_hours time(0) What I have to do is the following: If lunch_hours is greater that one hour, I have to calculate the offset Example: lounch_hour = 01:30:00 = offset = 00:30:00 Once done I've to subtract the offset from the working_hours value Example: offset = 00:30:00, working_hours = 07:30:00 = working_hours = 07:00:00 The result must be in time(0) format (hh:mm:ss) I've tried several solutions but still not working. Used DATEDIFF probably didn't used in correct way. Thanks for any help Bye!

There'll be a few tables that relate to each other, so I could use JOINs to ensure they're accessing only their data, but should I include user_id in each table? Would this be faster?
