    Hi I am doing this in my Main Thread: CCAnimation *anim; //class variable [NSThread detachNewThreadSelector:@selector(loadAimation) toTarget:self withObject:nil]; In loadAimation: -(void) loadAimation { NSAutoreleasePool *autoreleasepool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; anim = [[CCAnimaton alloc] init]; [autoreleasepool drain]; } And in main thread I release it: [anim release]; Now I want to ask if this is fine regarding memory management.

    HI, i have a table, new_id----old_id----created_on 1234------5678------20100912 5678------3456------20100808 etc. i wrote this query, $q = "select event1.new_id, event1.old_id, event1.created_on,event2.new_id, event2.old_id, event2.created_on FROM replaced_isbns event1 JOIN replaced_isbns event2 ON event2.new_id = event1.old_id WHERE event1.new_id='$id'"; but i get result as 5678 - 1234, ie only one row, i want all rows... plz help me. All blocks are mounted within an Cocoon webapp. Now I would like to have an block which generates an overview of all other mounted blocks.     Hi, I have a css class like: .foo { background-color: red; } then I have a class specified for a list: .list1 li { background-color: tan; } is it possible to set one style class to just point to another? Something like: .list1 li { .foo; } not sure how to articulate that - I just want the .list li style to be whatever I define for the .foo class. Thanks

    Hi, I'm using php on apache with mysql. I want to let users enter a url into their browser to see a custom user page for themselves, just like twitter does. For example, they could enter urls like: www.mysite.com/johndoe www.mysite.com/janedoe and see that user's page. How could I do this with php and apache? I don't want to create a folder on disk for every user like above, I'd instead kind of like to catch the url and generate the page on the fly for them, Thanks

    Hi, I have two rows of links like: Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 Link 4 Link 5 Link 6 Link 7 LInk 8 I need the top four links to align with the top bottom links regardless of how many characters are in the link. For example, This is link 1 This is link 2 Link 3 L4 LInk 1 Link 2 that is longer Link 3 L4 I can do this with tables and td cells but how can this be accomplished just using divs? Thanks.

    hi, I have the following code inside the .h file and I'm not sure what does the assignment statement do and how is it called properly? virtual void yield() = 0; I thought that the function returns a value of 0 by default but since this function returns void I am a little bit confused.
