  • Entity Framework 4 - Delay Loading Expensive Fields

    I know this same question was asked for Entity Framework 1, but now that Entity Framework 4 has come out, and Microsoft claims that it provides all of the features of Linq to Sql + more, does Entity Framework now support lazy loading expensive properties? In Linq to Sql, this is extremely easy. There's a Delay Loaded option on any property (accessible through the Designer) that can simply be toggled on or off. Is there something similar in Entity Framework? Thanks

    Hi, I'm using Gunplot to create a figure in the metapost format, after which I'm converting to eps via the command line: mpost --sprologues=3 -soutputtemplate=\"%j-%c.eps\" myfigu.mp to get myfigu-0.eps. I would like to know the resolution of such an eps file. How do I proceed? Is the eps thus created has a fixed resolution? Thanks a lot

    Hi I would like to create a text box which loads xml files and let users edit them. However, I cannot use XmlDocument to load since the files can be very large. I am looking for options to stream/load the xml document in chunks so that I do not get out of memory errors -- at the same time, performance is important too. I see that we have float and Put( Integer'Image( Float'digits ) ); on my machine gives a value of 6, which is not enough for numerical computations. Does Ada has double and long double types as in C? This would be as an alternative to creating a subreport or including the subreport fields in the main report in the interest of saving space.     Hello, do you know any browser-side component, in HTML/Javascript, Flash, Applet or Silverlight, that would allow source code edition with syntax highlighting and auto-completion. CodeMirror has a good syntax highlighting support but does not seem to support auto-completion. If no such editor exists do you know any way to implement auto-completion using HTML and javascript or any other browser-side technology ? Thanks by advance.
