  • How to bold text With Compact Framework

    I have an app written in C# for the compact framework (3.5). I am trying to display some text on the form in bold. The Label class does not give me the option to bold my text (I can make it bigger, which eventually gives a bold look, but I want my text 12pt and bold. Is this possible?   • Error when pushing data to Heroku: time zone displacement out of range

    I run the following command to push the contents of my local database to Heroku: heroku db:push --app my-app and from my home computer it works flawlessly but from my work computer I get this error: Taps Server Error: PGError: ERROR: time zone displacement out of range: "2011-11-15 12:00:00.000000+5894114400" I'm not sure where that date is coming from, I can't find it in the data anywhere. Any ideas what's going on and/or how to fix it? Thanks.

  • How to handle authorization in the view layout

    Authorize attribute are good to do some access control base on Action but suppose that I have some UI element in the layout that should note be output unless the user is authorize. I could possibly set some boolean in the ViewBag but that is not the good solution I guess. Somewhere in the Layout.cshtml: @if (ViewBag.IsAuthorized) { <li>@Html.ActionLink("Index", "Admin")</li> } Let me know if there is a better solution. Thanks.

  • ajax isUpload (Jquery)

    Hi all, I was some time ago busy with ExtJS and ajax. I've have some data in csv format that i return. With ExtJS you can use the option isUpload to popup a file "filename.csv" where you can click save / open etc. Now i'm moving all ExtJS to Jquery and i don't seem to find something which handles this in Jquery, there is no option isUpload in ajax with jquery i guess? Does someone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance

I have a location field (which I've just created) and want to run a query to populate it with either 'Building 1' or 'Building 2' depending on which room number it has in the 'Room' field.     Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to group items like the grouped mail boxes in the mail app. I need it to be like selecting a mail box, when you tap it it loads new data, your inbox outbox and all of the other boxes for that mail account. Then you can tap back and return to all of your accounts. If anyone has a little sample code they could show or explain how one might go about doing this any help is appreciated.     Hi , i am doing one small application , wheich have login functionality, in the user table am maintaining the AVAILABLE status for the logged USER, example : i have three user called foo1,foo2,foo3 , When foo1 logged then his AVAILABLE STATUS WILL UPDATE AS 1 IN THE USERTABLE, if he logged out then his AVAILABLE STATUS goes to 0, like the foo2, and foo3 , for this available status flasg , amsimply using the update operation ..no other big functionality , Now What i want is, If somthing happened when user logged in , then i want to make the available status as 0, Somthing means , I WANT TO CHANGE THE AVAILABLE STATUS TO 0 , WHEN system CRASH OR browser crash Thanks Bharanikumar

  • Heroku + Yii "Application runtime path is not valid"

    I'm trying to deploy a Yii webapp into Heroku but, it keep throwing at me a weird error: Application runtime path "/app/www/protected/runtime" is not valid. Please make sure it is a directory writable by the Web server process. Makes no sense and I know is something to do with Heroku because in my local machine it works fine. Does anyone what does this means? what do I need to do in Heroku ti fix this?? Many thanks.
