  • Sort MYSQL Data By Number of Entries

    - by Belgin Fish
Hi, I'm wondering how I can sort mysql data based on the number of entries. I'm doing this so I can have a page of the top purchases, so it would have to retrieve all the product_id's from a table, and then sort them by the most times one shows up, limiting it to 10 or something. Thanks!

  • When to Use Properties & When to Use Methods?

    - by DaveDev
Hi Guys I was looking at the following line of code foreach (PropertyInfo prop in t.GetProperties()) and I noticed that tprovides a method to return the type's properties instead of a property like t.Properties This makes me wonder why sometimes people use properties to make a type's data avilable and other times there's a method provided? Is there some logic behind the decision? Thanks Dave

  • Singleton rule questions (do not allow to create copy and deserialization)

    - by Petr
Hi, Reading some article about singleton, I stopped at the point saying: "Do not allow to crate copy of existing instance". I realized that I do not know how would I do that! Could you tell me, please, how could I copy existing instance of class? And the second one: deserializaition. How it could be dangerous? And for both - how to deny creating copies or deserialization? Thanks
