  • Using a hypercard file on a Windows machine

    Hello, my parents were cleaning out their house and found an old Mac Classic which I used a long time ago to run HyperCard. I made a couple things which I'd like to keep but I don't know what appliations will even run Hypercard files anymore. Also, I'm using a Windows computer now. Can anyone recommend an emulator or some way to convert it to something I can use on my Windows machine?

I downloaded and try to install the newest Xcode, but it told me I need new Mac Os X. So I clicked my Mac mini's software update to check if there is new version. It told me my softwares are newest.     Hello, I am trying to run process(console executable) on remote PC from asp.net application using WMI and get "Access is denied" problem. I have checked all event viewer logs on remote PC, no information related this. Where do I start searching for problem? Does Windows has some kind of permission monitor tool? Also I have tried to use Procmon.exe but hard to understand what to search, my process even do not listed in Procmon. Regards, Tomas

    Hello All, I am working on a Windows Server 2003 x64 bit OS. Under ODBC connections, I am seeing only "SQL Server" and "SQL native Client". I wanted to make a datasource for xls. I have already performed the following things and there is no use :: Gone through the reply specified in JET and ODBC driver missing, can not get data from MDBs but there is no use for me. I think the link sol;ves the problem for a 32 bit OS. Installed Mdac 2.8 Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello, I wanted to do a joke to my teacher : When she left, she logged out and i set up all the accessibility tools (color blind, narrator.....) When she came back, she turn off her computer by letting the POWER button pushed. Ever since, each time she turns on the computer, all the accessibilty tools came up even if she DISABLES it each time. (@windows 7) Any solution before she kills me or i get fired from the school ? =o Thanks

    Hello, The ISAPI_REWRITE Helicon product does not log anything... I setup logging to run as: [ISAPI_Rewrite] RewriteEngine on #enabling rewrite.log RewriteLogLevel 9 #enabling error.log LogLevel debug But nothing is getting logged. Is it something I'm doing, is it working? It is installed, it's given high priority in IIS (do see it visibly present). Any ideas why it isn't logging? Should it log even if not rewriting?

Instead of reinstalling and reconfiguring everything (and to save time) we'd like to copy everything from the current hard drive to a new one and start using it. We only have a single hard drive with a main partition and a swap partition. What tools or methods would you recommend for replacing a hard drive with minimum difficulty and chance of problems?     Possible Duplicate: Installing Mac OS X on Non Apple Hardware hello i have an intel based computer, it's hp pavillion dv6000, it's cpu is 1.6ghz duocore and has 1GB of ram. i installed the mac os x leopard for intel on it, on a 12GB partition, but it's not working. i can boot to the mac and the os display a picture and a welcoming song then it stop doing anything. does the mac os x need a special intel requirements?
