    Hi, I followed the steps in oracle documentation on creation of a physical standby database. The link to the configuration steps, http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28294/create_ps.htm#i63561 When I perform "Step 4 Verfiy that received redo has been applied." my query result is not as expected, following is the result, SQL SELECT SEQUENCE#,APPLIED FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG ORDER BY SEQUENCE#; SEQUENCE# APP 5 NO 6 NO 7 NO 8 NO 4 rows selected. Appreciate any advice on how to proceed, thanks.

Basically homelan.net is a local domain, with wildcards enabled pointing to the same IP address. I've been trying with different RewriteRules but with no luck so far.

  • sybase ase 15.0.3 64 bit install error

    Hi , I have a 32bit machine installed with 64 bit suse10 linux. I then tried installing a 64bit sybase on it but the sybase installation fails the moment i launch ./setup with below error: Unhandled error...try running with is:debug system property. the install shield wizard fails to launch.. I tried replacing the JVM folder in sybase installation dump but it doesn't help. how do i use this is:debug property? has any one encountered such an error?

    Hi, I have the following command: find Acc*\bin\Debug\*.pdb > temp.txt Looking in temp.txt, I have: Accounting/bin/Debug/Accounting.pdb Accounting/bin/Debug/BackendProcess.pdb NOTE the forward slashes. Why does it output file names like this? And how do I get it to output backslashes, so I can use del on those files? Thanks

Therefore Xen does not create vif network interface when I launch xl create /etc/xen/my_server.cfg but does create vif network interface with the command xm create /etc/xen/my_server.cfg Here are sample configuration: nano /etc/xen/xl.conf vifscript="vif-bridge" nano /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp (network-script network-bridge) (vif-script vif-bridge) nano /etc/default/xen TOOLSTACK=xl Any idea ?     Hi, We have fiber optic internet coming to our office soon, and i would like to know if it would be worth installing fiber NIC's in our servers and machines instead of using cat6 gigabit. Here is the layout: (fiber) cable from distribution point in basement - fiber optic modem - Network gateway (debian lenny) - network computers and servers I was wondering if it would be worth installing a fiber connection from the modem to the gateway and the network clients.
