    Hi there I remember in Tiger, you could always select a bunch of files in Finder and right click them, there was an option to open the selection in Automator. However, it seems that option has been lost somewhere between the Leopard and Snow Leopard upgrade. Or am I a bit blind? Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I am setting up a BizTalk 2009 Server production environment and I wonder if this tutorial: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc558972(BTS.10).aspx is still fairly accurate for an installation on all the latest platform software (Hyper-V, Windows Server 2008, BizTalk Server 2009, SQL Server 2008)? Is there anything like this but more up to date? Any other advice about this process and links to articles, blogs & tutorials would be appreciated.

    Hi I need to control a Windows 7 PC via VNC from a Mac in an office LAN. Since the IPs are dynamically assigned, I'd like the PC to appear in my "Places" and in the automatically detected nearby servers in VNC client I'm using -- both of which require the PC to advertise its VNC server via Bonjour (right?). I tried installing ultravnc, which works when I access it directly by IP, but it doesn't seem to advertise itself in the network. Any ideas?

    hi , After installing iis6.0 metabase compatibility and iis6.0 console in the iis7.0 ,i am not able to create new virtual directory in Default website( which is marked with a small red mark). when i right click on" Default website",it generates following message box "there was an error while performing this operation...the application '/' does not exist." and i am working in the windows 2008 environment .can any one help me in getting back my old virtual directories in default website?

    Hi, I am running ubuntu 9.10. At the sudden the CPU goes crazy and when I do top, it is used by a command called 'dd' and it is run by USER 'root'. It keeps going to for 15 minutes. Can you please tell what is it doing? and if I can kill it by reboot my machine? Thank you.

    Hi all, My touchpad on my laptop appears to be no longer functioning. I typically use an external keyboard and mouse so I didn't notice the problem until I tried to use the touchpad. Even after toggling the on/off switch several times, the touchpad still doesn't work. In the logs, I see something about cannot read byte from synaptics device. After working a bit lately with Netgears ReadyNAS's units, I have become really spoiled with how easy it was to set up network shares and giving a specific user different levels of network access to a specific share (forbidden access, read, read/write).     Hi, i've installed postgres on ubuntu and am trying to do a pg_dump but get the error message: "pg_dump: [archiver] WARNING: requested compression not available in this installation -- archive will be uncompressed" i've read that this is because i didn't install zlib along with postgres. how can i install zlib for postgres now that postgres is already installed? thanks.

The WEP, WPA-PSK connections and communications between my board and my desktop PC, WINDOWS XP SP2) (with OLITEC wireless usb)are fine. But when i configured the WPA type, connection established but it is showing the status in the secuirity dialog box "TKIP - Key Absent" Can any one faced this problem?? /renjith g

(Not to say I don't have any other copy of the document) While formatting (as a try) I applied the style "Apply Style to Body to match selection".
