    I have a (dump) question regarding VB/C# I often use third party classes where I can access a child object with only specifying the id or key. Example: Instead of writing: DataRow row = GetAPopulatedDataRowSomeWhere(); Object result = row.Items[1]; // DataRow has no Items property Object result = row.Items["colName"]; // Also not possible I use this code to access the members: DataRow row = GetAPopulatedDataRowSomeWhere(); Object result = row[1]; Object result = row["colName"]; Can someone tell me how a class has to look like to support this syntax? My own class has a Dictionary that I want to access this way. MyClass["key"]; // <- that's what I want MyClass.SubItems["key"]; // <- that's how I use it now

  • How to commit a non-subversioned file into a repository ?

    The environment: SVN, Netbeans, Hudson SVN Project A: Builds a library file (foo.jar). The build file is under /dist, which is ignored for svn, the sourcecode is under svn control. SVN Project B: holds all library files. (other SVN projects get all their libraries from here via external svn) Question: I want to commit foo.jar from A into B. How to do that ? foo.jar cannot be added or committed because it is not under SVN control. Thanks for any hints ! (The question is independent from the IDE and CI Server)

  • Bring Control to ToolBox

    I created a TextBoxControl which is inherited from Infragistics.Win.UltraWinEditors.UltraTextEditor, an Infragistics control. As showed below. public class TextBoxControl : Infragistics.Win.UltraWinEditors.UltraTextEditor { //My Stuff } At some level Infragistics.Win.UltraWinEditors.UltraTextEditor class also inherited from WinForm's "Control" class. My problem is, this control is not appearing in the ToolBox. I done two steps 1. Choose from browse option and select the dll where the class present 2. Drag and drop the dll directly to the ToolBox In-fact both are same, TextBoxControl control is not appearing in the ToolBox, what i missing here. Edit : TextBoxControl class have empty constructor, nothing special in this class.

A WCF service gives me true or false when I enter a login and a password. Then, if it returns true, I want to remember the logged user. How can I do it?   • Most efficient way to send images across processes

    Goal Pass images generated by one process efficiently and at very high speed to another process. The two processes run on the same machine and on the same desktop. The operating system may be WinXP, Vista and Win7. Detailled description The first process is solely for controlling the communication with a device which produces the images. These images are about 500x300px in size and may be updated up to several hundred times per second. The second process needs these images to display them. The first process uses a third party API to paint the images from the device to a HDC. This HDC has to be provided by me. Note: There is already a connection open between the two processes. They are communicating via anonymous pipes and share memory mapped file views. Thoughts How would I achieve this goal with as little work as possible? And I mean both work for me and the computer. I am using Delphi, so maybe there is some component available for doing this? I think I could always paint to any image component's HDC, save the content to memory stream, copy the contents via the memory mapped file, unpack it on the other side and paint it there to the destination HDC. I also read about a IPicture interface which can be used to marshall images. What are your ideas? I appreciate every thought on this!

What I did: Downloaded Tomcat 6.0.26 & Spring 3.0.1 Downloaded PetClinic from https://src.springframework.org/svn/spring-samples/petclinic Built & deployed petclinic.war. Ran fine with default TopLink persistence. Edited webapps/WEB-INF/spring/applicationContext-jpa.xml and changed jpaVendorAdaptor from TopLink to Hibernate. Edited webapps/WEB-INF/web.xml and changed context-param from applicationContext-jdbc.xml to applicationContext-jpa.xml Copied everything in the Spring 3.0.1 distribution to TOMCAT_HOME/lib. Launched tomcat. Saw Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: ClassLoader [org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader] does NOT provide an 'addTransformer(ClassFileTransformer)' method. Specify a custom LoadTimeWeaver or start your Java virtual machine with Spring's agent: -javaagent:spring-agent.jar Uncommented line <Loader loaderClass="org.springframework.instrument.classloading.tomcat.TomcatInstrumentableClassLoader"/> in webapps/META-INF/context.xml. Same error. Added that line to TOMCAT_HOME/context.xml Deployed without error.     Hello friends, I have a UILabel control in a view. I want to detect touch event occurred when this label touched. I added the following code, which should work whenever touch happens on the view. - (void)touchesEnded:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event { // This should be called only when the label is touched, not all the time.. [ [UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.mywebsite.com"] ]; } Whenever that particular label is touched my code should do the process further, not when the touch is happening anywhere in the view. How do i find out the particular label (or) any control is touched under touchesEnded function ? Could someone guide me on this? Thank you.

  • How to make sure Solr/Lucene won't die with java.lang.OutOfMemoryError?

    I'm really puzzled why it keeps dying with java.lang.OutOfMemoryError during indexing even though it has a few GBs of memory. Is there a fundamental reason why it needs manual tweaking of config files / jvm parameters instead of it just figuring out how much memory is available and limiting itself to that? No other programs except Solr ever have this kind of problem. Yes, I can keep tweaking JVM heap size every time such crashes happen, but this is all so backwards.     I use the classpath attribute in custom Ant tasks to tell Ant where to find the external task jar, but how do I do the same for built-in tasks? In my case I'd like to make sure ant uses my copy of jsch.jar for the scp task, and not one that my already be installed on the system. Is there any way I can <scp> while guaranteeing it's using my jsch.jar?
