  • Password Expired on Server 2008 R2

    Hello everybody, We're facing some trouble with our Windows Server 2008 R2 installation. The passwords expired and we're prompted to change the password. After changing it, we get following error message: Configuration Information could no be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied. But we aren't even using a domain controller. So we tried running the server in Safe Mode where we get following message after changing the password: An attempt was made to logon, but the network logon service was not started. Are there any other things I could try? All help is more than appreciated!

  • IE Behaviors in my system

    When i type some Url say www.google.com in IE (installed and tested with IE 6.0/7.0/8.0) at first attempt it does not recognize that URL when i type it second time.It goes to the page. But when i test it in other browsers like firefox ,Chrome without problem it is working. I scanned my system with Norton and Kasper sky,they do not complaint about any virus.I am using Windows XP Service pack 2. Does my system get affected with something say doubleclick virus?

  • Windows 7 boots with a blank screen with mouse cursor only.

    My Windows 7 machine was powered down without logging out first. Now when booting the PC, Windows 7 does not completely start--instead it boots to an all-black screen with a mouse cursor that can be moved around. There are no icons, toolbars, etc. Ctrl+Alt+Del does not bring up the Task Manager. Booting to Safe Mode renders the same result.

    hey in my screen there is a an edit field and 2 custom button fields as "OK" and "CANCEL" Below buttonfield there are some more focussable label fields when i write a name in edit field and press enter then focus comes to "OK" button but how to set focus on "CANCEL" button. Moreover while scrolling the focus does not automatically move ahead??? what to do may be i m confused with touch events and their handling!!! Kindly help!!!!!!!!!!!!   • PDF Making with Rotated Image for iPhone

    I'm having problems with drawing rotated images on PDF, my output is worse. My case is, we don't know have any fixed co-ordinates. X,Y, rotation, etc. depends on ImageView itself. I select the ImageView and rotate it through Sliders. Check on ZOSH application. I need to implement functionalities like that app. I want to make PDF by adding images one by one. Please send me link for any example that can help me out, I'm stuck here. I'm drawing the image on PDF based on center of the imageview. Please help me, Thank You.

  • Asynchronous PHP request (not AJAX)

    Hi I am developing an eshop application. I am using webservice to create Order in Oracle database and websvc will give a response (OrderNumber) and I will inform customer that his Order (OrderNumber) is generated My problem The creation of order is taking too much time in backend system and user is keeping refreshing the page, On each refresh user is coming back to Order create Page, so user is able to click on create Order button again In such cases multiple orders are creating for same orderlines.I can restrict user to create only one order per session in case I got order number in websvc response and I can give ordernumber to customer in next page But real problem come when I didn't get response(Ordernumber) and user is refreshing page. request is already went to Backend system and it will create order and my applicaion will not get response Is there any method in PHP where we can asyncronously check the status of order if first request is initiated by user and it doesn't matter the furthur page navigation Please help me out..   • WPF Composite - Expose EF model to all modules

    Hi All, I have an application that uses WPF Composite, and I have an issue. I've got a big database that is attached to the application and I need it exposed to different modules as part of the application. What is the best way to expose my Entity Framework model to all my different modules and views inside them? Do I have one EF model or a separate one for each module and then only the tables that each module needs. The only problem being that some tables have a relationship and will have different views and those views will be in different modules. Any ideas how to resolve this?

That means that on the page I have to set something that the HttpModule can then react on. If possible I would like to avoid having call context data in the session.   • IPhone custom UITableViewCell Reloading

    Hi, currently I'm struggling with this problem: I got a UITableViewController that displays a tableView with different custom cells. One custom cell displays a number (by a label). If you click on this cell, the navigationController moves to a UIPicker where the user can select the number to be displayes. If the user moves back, the cell should display the updated value. Problem: I managed to reload the cells by calling - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillAppear:animated]; [self.tableView reloadData]; } in the UITableViewController. This works only, if I don't use dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier for the cell (tables won't show updates otherwise). But in this case, memory usage grows and grows... In addition, the program crashes after about 15 movements to pickerView and back - I think because the cell that should be reloaded is already released. How can I update a reusable custom cell every time the view appears ? What is the best solution ? I think retaining cells should not be used ?

    Suppose the following code is executed on the 22nd of August 2009 (a Saturday) Calendar c = Calendar.getInstance(); c.set(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK, Calendar.SUNDAY); c.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH) will return 23. I'm interested in the conditions is would return 14 (last Sunday, rather than the next Sunday). Are there any rules associated with the direction Calendar will roll the DAY_OF_MONTH/YEAR when DAY_OF_WEEK is set? If so what are they?

  • C#. Where struct methods code kept in memory?

    It is somewhat known where .NET keeps value types in memory (mostly in stack but could be in heap in certain circumstances etc)... My question is - where is the code of the struct? If I have say 16 byte of data fields in the struct and a massive computation method in it - I am presuming that 16 byte will be copied in stack and the method code is stored somewhere else and is shared for all instances of the struct. Are these presumptions correct?

  • Any reason to clean up unused imports in Java, other than reducing clutter?

    Is there any good reason to avoid unused import statements in Java? As I understand it, they are there for the compiler, so lots of unused imports won't have any impacts on the compiled code. Is it just to reduce clutter and to avoid naming conflicts down the line? (I ask because Eclipse gives a warning about unused imports, which is kind of annoying when I'm developing code because I don't want to remove the imports until I'm pretty sure I'm done designing the class.)

  • IIS6 - 301 permanent redirect response accessing an asp.net web site

    I've installed an ASP.NET 2.0 virtual directory application on the default web site in IIS6 (Windows 2003 computer) with a Visual Studio generated web deployment setup. Unfortunately, following a successfull installation, I'm unable to access our web site. I get a permanent redirect from IIS as shown in the log below : 2010-02-25 15:32:41 W3SVC1 127.0.0.1 GET /naweb3 - 80 - 127.0.0.1 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+8.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+Trident/4.0;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727;+.NET+CLR+3.0.04506.30;+.NET+CLR+3.0.4506.2152;+.NET+CLR+3.5.30729) 301 0 0 This is the first time I have this kind of problem. Before I go with completely resetting IIS6 on this machine, I'm wondering what could cause this problem. The virtual directory configuration seems fine to me, no redirection at all at this level. Any help appreciated. TIA.

Argument not specified for paramenter 'totalRecords' of 'Public MustOverride Function GetAllUsers(pageIndex as Integer, pageSize as Integer, ByRef totalRecords as Integer) As System.Web.Security.MembershipUserCollection' Then, I added what it asked for like this : Dim allUsers As MembershipUserCollection = Membership.Providers("CustomSqlRoleManager").GetAllUsers(1, 50, 100) I don't get anything in return. I debugged it and allUsers = Nothing. What's wrong the declaration above? Do I really have to provider the paramenters when calling Membership.Providers("CustomSqlRoleManager").GetAllUsers? Update 1 If, I used the statement below: Dim allUsers As MembershipUserCollection = Membership.Providers("MembershipRoleManager").GetAllUsers(0, 0, totalUser) I got this error message: The pageSize must be greater than zero. Parameter name: pageSize. [ArgumentException: The pageSize must be greater than zero. Parameter name: pageSize] System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider.GetAllUsers(Int32 pageIndex, Int32 pageSize, Int32& totalRecords) +1848357 But it works if I provied the pageSize param: Dim pageSize As Integer = GetTotalNumberOfUser() Dim allUsers As MembershipUserCollection = Membership.Providers("MembershipRoleManager").GetAllUsers(0, pageSize, totalUser) This statment Dim pageSize As Integer = GetTotalNumberOfUser() returns the total counted record, it's already round trip to database, just to get the total number of users, because I need to provide the pageSize param value.
