• Dell XPS Problem

  Hi, Yesterday, my mom dropped her laptop to the floor and got the blue screen of death after trying to boot the system. I was able to start fedora live CD and get some of her stuff off the hard drive, but I cannot seem to be able to install Windows on it. The installation starts loading files and then the computer turns off. I am thinking that she might need a new hard drive. Any ideas?

• Calculate using an Averaged coumn in a pivot

  Hi, I have a pivot which includes goals and year results. Because goal is the same on each meausure, I have to average the goal in the pivot in order to show the correct amount. I then want to calculate v% between the goal and the year result. Because the goal is averaged, v% cannot be calculated correctly. Does anyone know of a way to do calcuation like this in a pivot?   hi all, I've recently started playing with ESXI and now want to move all my current data (movies etc) to an openfiler vm image. Currently I have esxi 4.1 running off a Patriot XT memory stick and a 500gb hdd for the VM datastore which I will put OF on. How do I go about adding in the other hard drives I have to make them available to the OF machine without losing the data on them? They are currently formatted as NTFS

  Hi, Need to edit some of the local text files on my iphone but so far all the apps I have downloaded do not navigate the OS3 file tree for me to load and edit them. I need to do this on my iphone as I can no longer access via ssh or with the iphone cable. One of the files to edit is a ssh config file which is what is not allowing ssh connections. Any ideas on apps or other methods that I could use.

• how to make soulseek portable?

• Missing HDD space - says 65GB used, selecting all folders shows 30GB used

  Hi Running Windows Server 2008, 74GB raptor drive and noticed we only had about 500MB left - yikes! So deleted some old backups we don't need, but can't track down where about 30GB seems to be taken up. If I go to C: and select all folders and go to properties, this comes to around 30GB but in My Computer I can see 65GB is used. How can I find out whats eating the space? Just IIS + MSSQL Express + Smartermail on the server

But after nginx redirected the request to Apache, the port 8080 is visible from the browser.   Hi, I have a SSH tunnel set up to my dedicated server via Putty which I am using as a socks proxy. The problem is I need to use a different outgoing IP address than the main IP of the dedicated server. I have a block of 30 ips for this server but even if I set up a web based proxy (php) it will use the main server ip. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks!

  Hi all, Just today during a freak accident, a book got tossed onto my Samsung N120 netbook while it was open and the 'G' and 'T' key flew off. Part of the plastic underneath broke off.
