  • creating new application in IIS 7 can cause other applications running on same IIS to log out?

    Hi Experts I am new to IIS 7 and i am running a 16 user Application Server i received complains from my colleagues that their application log out suddenly and not saving edits. i compared the time of complains and they match the time when i was trying to install a new asp.net application or modify an existing one (of course not the very one they complained from) does this make sense? i mean are these events (application crash and installing new application on IIS) related together. note that i did not restart IIS

  • best way to save a web page

    Hi all I have tried many ways/software to save a web page (html, mht, doc, pdf). My favorite software was an addon for browsers from Omnipage (OCR). What i like about this is that it prints the whole page (continuously) and it doesn't write the http path and page number on the footer of every page, which i find very annoying. Does anyone know a software like this one (freeware or not) PS I tried CutePDF

    Hi guys, This is a bit of a silly question, how do I run Thunderbird 3 which I downloaded? Well, I can get it to run by executing the 'thunderbird' shell script file. However that creates a terminal windows aswell and will close Thunderbird if it is closed. How do I get it to open without the terminal? Thanks.

    Hi all, currently my logrotate configuration adds a single number after the rotated log file: mylogfile.log is rotated to mylogfile.log.1 I would like to change the extension to mylogfile.log.Current date does anyone know a way to do this? my log rotate code is :- /usr/local/jboss/jboss-3.2.7-ND1/server/default/log/consolelog.log { copytruncate rotate 1 missingok notifempty } Currently am renaming the rotated file with script.is there any option to change the extension of log rotate default configuration.   • Moving media files while preserving itunes rating

    Hi, I've seen many threads on how to move an entire media collection from one machine to another. I want to organize my mp3 directories, but any copied file loses its reference from itunes library, thus, when I add it to itunes again, it'll have no rating data. I guess it's possible if I manipulate the itunes xml database, but I really don't want to mess with it "by hand".

    hi, A customer of mine have been testing a trial of MS CRM 4.0 that I installed for them, but they concluded that it might be a bit heavy for them. I promised them to look into other CRM applications that use SQL Server as the backend and preferably has an Outlook plugin so you can do "CRM Stuff" directly from Outlook. If anyone knows about alternatives, I would appreciate it if you leave a link here!

However suse rovide options to boot windows 1 (window xp) during boot up. If i uninstall suse linux (i've tried), windows won't be able to be booted up as the grub master boot will be corrupted. my question is: is there a software tool which can be booted on cd to modify the master boot record so as to reduce much effort??

    Hi i cloned a local repository on another server http://localipaddress/git/project . It created an empty repository. When i tried to pull from the repository, it gave me an error Your configuration specifies to merge with the ref 'master' from the remote but no such ref was detected. On push i get the following message error:Cannot access url "http://localipaddress/git/project" , return code 22 . Fatal git-http-push failed What could have been wrong.

  • Sum if ONLY all the cells have a value?

    Hi I need to sum 9 cells of data, each one on a separate sheet, but always in the same location. I only want a figure returned when all the cells have data, even if it's a 0. But, if one of the cells is blank I want a blank return. I'm trying to get my head around, making it up actually, where the IFs and ISBLANK and SUMS would go.
