  Hi all, As far as I have read, scaling a big image to draw it on the iPhone is very slow [1]. I really need to do it fast and I wonder why zoom goes so fast on the iPhone while code scaling is so slow. Any idea? By the way, any fast way to do scaling? • Installing ssl certificates in GlassFish v3

  I have just installed a new ssl certificate on GlassFish 3. I also changed all references to s1as to a new certificate alias in config/domain.xml. Everything seems to work fine, but I wonder if I have to change all "s1as" entries in config/sun-acc.xml, wss-server-config-1.0.xml,wss-server-config-2.0.xml as well ? Do settings in these files affect anything ? Thanks in advance.

  Using Sun Glassfish Enterprise server v2.1.1 I am using "alternatedocroot" via sun-web.xml for my web application to abstract out static content from actual deploy-able code (EAR/WAR) What I have is a cluster of two server instances distributed across two physical hosts - HOST1 and HOST2. "alternatedocroot" points to /data/static-content/ on both HOST1 and HOST2. Would DAS (Domain application server )take care of syncing /data/static-content between HOST1 and HOST2 if I use syncinstances=true option while starting up the cluster? Thanks!

• C# WPF fill datagrid or listview from XML file

  I have a well formed XML file I would like to fill a datagrid with. I would prefer using the AutoGenerate feature of WFPToolKit datagrid, but could hard code the columns in. The trouble I am having is getting the xml file contents into a datagrid. I had it partially working in a listview, but think a datagrid would be more suited for my needs. Can anyone provide a quick example of how to accomplish this? Thanks!

  Anyone have experience parsing complex response types using ws-xmlrpc? The service returns a HashMap with one of the values an Array, when I request the key of the array from the hashmap, java just returns "java.lang.Object". How do I access the contents of the array? • Hiding UITabBar when rotating device iPhone

  Has anyone successfully hidden a UITabbar when rotating the device? I have one view in the UItabbar controller that i rotate (So effectively one tab that rotates) When this happens i want the tab bar to disappear... but nothing seems to work! Either the tabbar still remains visible Or it disappears along with the view Or the tabbar disappears and the view no longer rotates! So if anyone has successfully accomplished this task any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Tom

  Is there a way to use multiple jQuery and jQuery UI Libraries in the same source? I know about noConflict and using multiple jQuery Libraries with this method, however is it possible to use multiple jQuery UI Libraries? Essentially I would like to use jQuery 1.2.6 and jQuery UI 1.6 together for a certain portion of the page that only works with those libraries and then for everything else use the latest jQuery Libraries of 1.4.2 and UI 1.8.   Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good libraries for parsing .doc files (and similar formats, like .odt) to extract text, yet also keep formatting information where possible for display on a website. Everything is great until you hit the tab bar when the device is in landscape and the original view is reloaded and placed back on screen.
