    Here is the .rb program: require 'watir' b = Watir::Browser.new the 2nd line will trigger a ""The program can't start because msvcrt-ruby18.dll is missing from your computer!" error.     Hey stackoverflow community, I am looking for a Document Viewer application that I can embed in a Flash/Flex application that supports Microsoft Office documents as well as PDF. I have looked into print2flash as a possibility, but their automated converter executable requires access to the files and directories. Does anyone know of other alternatives which would have .NET/Java/Other libraries to convert these files to a SWF that can do it based on the download stream, as opposed to the actual files? Thanks!

    Hi, The title says enough I think. I have a full quality BufferedImage and I want to send it through an OutputStream with a low bitdepth. I don't want an algorithm to change pixel by pixel the quality, so it is still a full-quality. What are the alternatives for handling when a client closes their browser without disconnecting from the server first? I know that it will eventually throw a TimeoutException, which I can catch, but is there a better way of detecting this? Thanks.

    Hi, i'm looking for a way to ship the python interpreter with my application (also written in python), so that it doesn't need to have python installed on the machine. I searched google and found a bunch of results about how to embed the python interpreter in applications written in various languages, but nothing for applications writtent in python itself... I don't need to "hide" my code or make a binary like cx_freeze does, i just don't want my users to have to install python to use my app, that's all. Thanks.

  • Django Inline formset for editing multiple related records at once - the right way to go?

    Hi, When using inline formsets, how does one do paging? I'm using django 1.1. The situation I'm in, is that the user needs to be able to edit the related objects quickly and easily (which is why I think I should be using an inline formset). However, there can be a more than a hundred objects to edit, which makes a pretty large formset, so paging would make sense. Is there a better way to be doing this? Thanks Bert

I want use a unique point of view of unmanaged exception and my problem is integrate wf-wcf services with ELMAH. The problem is that in wf-wcf i can't decorate di class with the elmah attribute so i make that using web.config if is possible. Someone can help me?
