  Hello, if i have a table which has columns with fixed lenght, Will mySQL count the backslashes as characters? Example : people(name[10],age[3]) If i store in the name column a mysql escaped value like : Blahblah\'s Will MySQL cut it at the quote? Thanks

  Hi! How can I set up routing in symfony to be like that(if one rule won't work, next should be grabbed): /controller/action/param/param/param/... /admin/controller/action/param/param/param/... ("admin" is constant here - name of the bundle) I tried that: homepage: pattern: / defaults: { _bundle: HelloBundle, _controller: Hello, _action: index } default: pattern: /:controller/:action/* defaults: { _bundle: HelloBundle } But it doesn't work, even for the first rule. • AJAX call works on local machine, not on host

  hey everyone, What could potentially stop an AJAX call from working on the host server, when it works fine on the local host? I tried returning an error from the AJAX call, but all I get is 'undefined'. I don't think the actual page method is being called since no information is added in my log (and I've explicitly added a call). I can't reproduce the problem on my local machine, so does anyone know possible areas I should look into? Thanks

  I am considering using MongoDB (mongo-mapper) for a portion of my rails application. I am not ready to go whole hog MongoDB because there are too many useful gems that depend on a traditional DB. That being said there are parts of my application that would be great to leverage a document database. Has anyone had success mixing the two approaches?
