  • gtk2 auto translation is choosing the wrong language

    Not sure if yall can help this time, as I'm just using this particular program not coding with it... I downloaded Deluge, a free torrent app, and it requires GTK2 Runtime which I've also installed. Unfortunately, on my English WinXP with East Asian Language support Deluge sets itself to Chinese menus and has no option to alter the language. A bit of poking around on the internet suggests this is due to GTK2 selecting the wrong default language. Does anyone know how I can override this?

    I'm trying to get the Ansinerator library to work my on my localhost, but something's amiss. I've installed the php-gd library, restarted the server, and while runs perfectly on production server, localhost will refuse. Ideas? Thank you.

  • iTextSharp and VBnet question about headers

    Hello! I'm wondering how can I put a header into my pdf file, cause i've tried the tutorials from here: http://itextsharp.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ch04.html And it have not worked. Ive done this: Dim head As New HeaderFooter(New Phrase("This is page: "), False) head.Border = Rectangle.NO_BORDER document.Header = head But VS2008 says that HeaderFooter it's not defined (line 1), and Footer it's not a member of "iTextSharp.text.document" (line 3). I've already included the imports at the begining of my code and i don't have any other problems with the iTextsharps (i mean that it is working apart of the header problem): Imports iTextSharp.text Imports iTextSharp.text.pdf Imports System.Data.SQLite Imports System.IO So please, can anyone explain to me how can i set a header for my pages?   • Password for iis after installing

    After installing IIS on my dev system, window xp professional, its asking for username and password while trying to access http://localhost. Can you please help me out. Tried googling and tried may things but could not resolve the issue.     Hi All, i am getting the following error while upgrading the server from ESX3.5i to ESX3.5.. and the server gets Stuck. it says : Starting System Management Homepage:.......ok Starting HP Insight Manager Agents: ipmi_si : servching for PCI device 0x3302 ipmi_si : Trying "Kcs" at memory address 0xf7ef.... ipmi_si : Found PCI BMC at BAR address 0xf7ef.... In try_get_dev_id And the server gets stuck, had anyone seen this and how to resolve this? Thanks, Amit

  • Have main website hosted on 3rd party while keeping Google Sites for Users

    Hi, I want a third party hosting my main site with PHP, MySQL, etc... I don't know which DNS records to modify. Is it possible to have the following mappings: www.example.com = 3rd party hosting blog.example.com = other 3rd party hosting mail.example.com = Google Mail docs.example.com = Google Docs sites.example.com = Google Sites sites.example.com/internal-site = Google Sites internal site ... Right now in TotalDNS, I have www = ghs.google.com. If I modify only this record to point to the IP provided by the 3rd party hosting, is it going to work ? Do I also need to add NameServers, remove the ones Google added ? Thx for the help

  • Java threads not working correctly with linkedlist

    Hi I am working on the sleeping barber problem. with the addition of having priority customer when they arrive they go in the front of the line and they are the next ones to get a haircut.   • Zend: How to authenticate using OpenId on local server.

    I am using zend framework. Now I want to authenticate users with other already registered accounts using RPX. I am following the 3 steps as described at RPX site: 1- Get the Widget 2- Receive Tokens 3- Choose Providers I created a controller(person) and action(signin) to show widget and my own signin form. When following action (http://test.dev/#person/personsignin) is called then my own login form and widget is shown successfully. # is used in above URL for AJAX indication. public function personsigninAction() { $this->view->jsonEncoded = true; // Person Signin Form $PersonSigninForm = new Form_PersonSignin(); $this->view->PersonSigninForm = $PersonSigninForm; $this->view->PersonSigninForm->setAction( $this->view->url() ); $request = $this->getRequest(); if ( $request->isPost() ) { } } There are two problems while login using openid widget: When I am authenticated from outside(for example: Yahoo) then I am redirected to http://test.dev, therefor indexAction in called in indexController and home page is shown. I want to redirect to http://test.dev/#person/personsignin after authentication and want to set session in isPost() condition of personsigninAction() (described above). For now I consider indexAction to be called when outside authentication is done. Now I posted the code from http://gist.github.com/291396 in indexAction to follow step 3 mentioned above. But it is giving me following error: An error occured: Invalid parameter: apiKey Am I using the right way to use this. This is my very first attempt to this stuff. Can someone tell me the exact steps using my above actions? Thanks.

  • wxWidgets/wxPython: Do two identical events cause two handlings?

    When there are two identical events in the event loop, will wxPython handle both of them, or will it call the handler only once for them both? I mean, in my widget I want to have an event like EVT_NEED_TO_RECALCULATE_X. I want this event to be posted in all kinds of different circumstances that require x to be recalculated. However, even if there are two different reasons to recalculate x, only one recalculation needs to be done. How do I do this?

A function is defined as follows: type RandomState a = State StdGen a getRandom :: Random a => RandomState a getRandom = get >>= \gen -> let (val, gen')= random gen in put gen' >> return val I don't really understand the purpose of the get and put functions here. I rewrote the function as following which seems to do the same thing and is more concise: getRandom2 :: Random a => RandomState a getRandom2= State $ \ s -> random s So my question is: What is the purpose of get and put?
