Is there a way to make ssl handshake more visible to me using boost asio? I am getting an error: "asio.ssl error". I just want more verbosity, because this message means almost nothing to me.

I am trying to run blocking_udp_echo_client on MacOS X

There is a line in the 3rd tutorial on Boost asio that shows how to renew a timer and yet prevent there from being drift. The line is the following:
t->expires_at(t->expires_at() + boost::posix_time::seconds(1));

Downloaded a new ssl cert from go daddy and installed the cert on apache2 server
put the cert in /etc/ssl/certs/ folder
put the gd_bundle.crt in the /etc/ssl/ folder
private key is in /etc/ssl/private/private.key
