Do Programmers create BUGS?

Recently i had a not very friendly discussion with a client stating that "he can't pay for fixing bugs on the application i've built for him".

his reason is simple: - I Can't actually pay for bugs you actually create.

He think that a bug in an application has as origin the author so it should be his responsibility to fix it.

Do you share that idea?
