I am trying to use log4Net with Asp.net MVC and I cannot get anything to happen with it.
i created a config that is in my web project root.
Here is that config file.

I am trying to use basic logging for a windows service.
I added the reference to log4net
I added the following in AssemblyInfo.cs:

Being a log4net newb / boob I just copied lines from an NHibernate example project where I can see the log.txt file is updated. Is there a quick answer why mine isn't creating the file?
